[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love Ragu products. We mainly get the meat sauce. Since it did not have the meat in it, we added meat. But beforehand, we tasted. It taste the same as the one we normally get from them just without meat. It's still good. Just got to have out meat.

This sauce is perfect for making traditional Italian dishes at home. I used it to make stuffed jumbo shells with ricotta cheese and ground chicken. I used Italian freshly shredded cheeses, and Italian seasoning and then layered it and baked it until it was perfectly melted. It turned out perfect! The sauce was excellent. I like how easy it was to incorporate into my favorite dishes without having to make the sauce from scratch. Very convenient and delicious. I would buy this brand again. Everyone loved the sauce. I would say it is very authentic in taste.

I used to two when I made spaghetti for us. I used one when I made parmesan chicken. Absolutely perfect sizes. And it tastes really good too! I will definitely use this again.

The new recipe is absolutely AWFUL. We eat spaghetti once a week and it is ALWAYS with this Ragu sauce. My poor husband thought I was playing a prank on him after the very first bite. He and my son have always LOVED this sauce but could barely make a couple of bites at dinner. I've never been a Ragu fan, but always eat it because they love it. This sauce is really, really atrocious now - we couldn't even choke it down (even with me trying to fix it on the stove with seasonings). Why change the "Original" recipe instead of making a new sauce? And how did this make it out of the test kitchen?!? I agree with other reviewers, I have a hard time believing the only change is olive oil. This sauce is truly terrible now and my family has already proclaimed an end to spaghetti night.
