[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, it's a big jar, but it's got a nice resealable screw-on top, so it can go into the fridge for a couple of days. Saute a handful of onions, chopped green peppers, and even some zucchini, and squash, but do the saute with garlic, a little thyme, and some oregano, then mix in the red sauce, serve meatballs on the side, with spaghetti, of course! just need some garlic bread to have everyone's favorite Italian meal. Or, make a meatloaf, about 10 minutes before it's done pour some of the red sauce on top, sprinkle some chopped parsley on top of that when it comes out, it looks a lot more elegant than just meatloaf... Or, start your hamburgers on slow heat in an extra large skillet, then add some chopped onion when there is enough fat from the burgers, put them right into the fat, put black pepper across the whole thing, and put on the top, when it is time, turn the meat and pour some of the ragu sauce, put a little water if it needs it, when the whole thing is ready you have burgers that you can serve on a plate without adding salt or bread or stuff... so all three of these little mini-recipes are pretty healthy and super simple because the ragu sauce is majorly convenient. My friend uses it to make sloppy joes, I just don't know how she does it. The point of all this is that we could make the spaghetti sauce ourselves, but it takes a long time, or we could use the ragu and add different kinds of spices to add variety, the product is very heat co-operative and convenient.

Decent amount, and tasty flavor, we prepared spinach raviolis with a mixed sauce, Alfredo and Ragú . We like experimenting and this recipe came out Perfect. We had enough for 4 portions. I absolutely recommend this product

I really liked the thick consistency of the sauce—it coated pasta nicely without being too runny. While I personally prefer a stronger basil flavor in my red sauces, this one still tasted good and would be perfect for anyone who enjoys a more mild, classic tomato flavor. It’s a solid pantry staple and a great option for quick, easy meals.

With small kids, dinner is hit or miss. Literally, the same meal two nights in a row can yield extremely different responses. You'd be surprised how quickly dinner can go from "we love burgers", to tears, screams, and thrown food. When I used this Ragu sauce for Spaghetti night, I can happily say that two children and my husband were two or three bowls deep!
