I have used this sauce for 39 years always loved it but now that you have changed it ,it does not taste the same. There is hardly any flavor no rich tomato taste like before. It also leaves a funny taste in your mouth. I beg of you to go back to the original recipe. I am forced now to try other sauces.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The traditional marinara sauce is a decent base but I prefer the chunky tomato, onion and garlic sauce over this since it has more flavor. I added additional herbs to the traditional sauce to get it how I like it.

When are you going to switch back to the old recipe? The addition of olive oil has altered the flavor drastically and in a very bad way. We used to be a family that used this sauce at least twice a week. Will never buy again unless there is an option to buy without the olive oil.

Normally I make my own, and I’ve typically avoided this brand since childhood because of the jar and its penchant for being overly sweet. It’s good for a weeknight meal when you don’t have time to make your sauce from scratch. I liked the olive oil flavoring. Unsure if I’d go out of my way to buy it because I love making my own sauce, but I’m glad to have tried it.

I have been buying the Ragu since you created the recipe. I am 62 years old and make dinners for me and my husband and my Italian Mother in law/father in law 2x a week. Last Week I bought 4 jars of the new recipe of your sauce and make our dinner with the sauce. My husband first said something is off about this sauce. It smells like garlic and it's spicy. He was right. My mother in law would not be able to eat anything spicy. I threw out the whole batch of spagetti and had to go to the store at 8:00 at nite to buy more sauce. Needless to say it wasn't ragu. SOOOO disappointed that I now have to experiment until I find our new sauce. Did you change the marinara too?

Over the last few months, our entire family has commented that something does not seem right with the flavor and body of the meals prepared with Ragu. The flavors are not as deep and the eating dishes appear to have more liquid left. I finally did a general internet search to see if it was just our family who was noticing this. Guess what Ragu, we aren't the only ones. Looks like you have changed something and it has a lot of your customers upset. Our family have made the decision this evening to no longer purchase Ragu products.

We made spaghetti which my son loved and also used it as a pizza sauce which turned out good too. It’s a good item for quick dinners and super budget friendly! I gave it 4 stars because there’s others jarred sauces that have a little better taste/ less acidity. But this is a solid choice too.

The new recipe is absolutely disgusting. It makes your pasta taste slimy and just ruins the overall taste. I don't understand why companies change things after they get their customers used to a product for so long. The original Traditional Ragu was the only sauce my family liked. They won't eat any other brand. I've tried tricking them into eating just about every different brand there is and it's just not the same. I guess we just won't have pasta again until they (hopefully) bring back the original sauce. There are way more bad reviews on this product then there are good. Please listen to your customer base and bring back the original.
