[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dish soap works very well! I like that it is Ultra Strength and good for getting even the most difficult stains cleaned. Good for use on all dishes. I would recommend it! I like that it is made form recyclable material as well.

I purchased a bottle as well as a replacement jug of soap. This was the newly 200% degreaser. I am truly disappointed with this new product. The first time I used it the new smell was overwhelmingly chemical and it dried out and burnt my skin. It hasn’t recovered since yesterday. This new formula is far too caustic for every day household use. I for one will no longer be purchasing this product from Palmolive for this reason. I also find it hugely inconvenient to use the product in a household as it’s so caustic you need to to wear gouges every time you wash a dish which is highly inconvenient. I liked the previous formula. It really cleaned my kitchen well, wasn’t hard on my hands and I could wash a quick dish. Not the case with the new formula. It stinks! Whoever came up and approved it didn’t really understand his folks do dishes. Not all of us use dishwashers. As a matter of fact many don’t. My family has used Palmolive products for over 60 years and I will have to hunt for a different product. Shame on this company.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dish detergent is just okay. I honestly did not like the green color. It makes me think about the chemicals inside the formula that are used to make it green. I know that this company is known for this color, but I would prefer coloring was not added. I would appreciate this formula a lot more if it was focused on being more natural and sulfate free. I did notice that many awful chemicals are not in this formula, but the sulfates were very drying on my skin. I didn't think this formula bubbled up well, but it did a great job a cutting grease. I would not purchase this product with my own money because I believe fully natural products are better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Palmolive is pretty comparable to other top brands of dish detergents. It produces the suds that I want and cuts the grease. I tried it initially on bacon grease, and it stood up to the test. I love the fact that the bottle is 100% recycled plastic and that the detergent is 100% biodegradable. I hope that means it’s better on my drain pipes. Probably the only drawback is that it seems to squirt out quickly, and my husband is pretty heavy handed with squeezing the detergent into the sink.

What I liked the most is the foam that removes the grease , the aroma that it has leaves no trace of the smell of food and finally the medium viscosity that I observed that makes it a excellent soap. I would buy it without question.

It IS a differrent formula!!!! It was great for bathing our dog with sensitive skin. His fur was soft & clean. We used the new formula & it was Horrible!!!!! His fur was coarse & his skin turned red and he was itching like Crazy. I’m NOT putting my hands in it for dishes anymore. If you want a degreaser, you will probably like it. If you remember ‘Madge - you’re soaking in it’ ads, it’s HORRIBLE. This Palmolive is like ‘New Coke’

Did Palmolive discontinue their original green dish soap, if yes, why? Can't find any green Palmolive dish soap in the stores anymore. Have to order online, pay for shipping and it's inconvenient. Why? Used it for years. Then got a skin sensitivity and was the only one I could use without problems. Was perfect the way it was. Tough on grease, gentle on skin with a gentle, pleasant fragrance.

I bought Palmolive "original" for the first time in a while expecting that classic palmolive smell and was seriously disappointed by the new strong perfumy scent! It's so overwhelming that it actually makes me nauseous while I'm washing dished which is extra awful at the moment since our dishwasher is broken and I'm doing all hand dishes. The worst part is I had to soak my silicone baking mat after an ill fated hard candy making experiment and it seems to have absorbed the scent of the Palmolive, a fact I didn't know until making some potatoes tonight that wound up tasting of Palmolive... Sorry Palmolive, I usually like your products, but until this issue is fixed I won't be buying any more.
