[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always purchased Palmolive in the past, but never the ultra strength. Palmolive cleans grease very easily. This product is perfect the way it is I would definitely recommend it and wouldn't change a thing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually use Dawn dish washing soap but was excited to try this new Palmolive Ultra Strength Liquid. It doesn’t cut through the grease very well but does rinse off easily. I like my soaps to have more of a scent to them though.

Opened my new bottle and the new sickly sweet smell made me gag! I have been buying Palmolive my whole life and for my professional kitchen for years and I believe that I am finished using it if they keep this scent. Why change something that isn't broken?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Certain name brand of dish detergent leaves a heavy sticky feeling to the point you feel like you have to keep washing your hands over and over after use. Palmolive rinses off easy and no sticky dry residue. It cleans great and smells fabulous Highly recommend

Long time Palmolive user here. Cut to the chase; Palmolive cleans as well as many other dishwashing soaps on the market. The thing that has set it apart is the original scent. That scent is what has kept Palmolive selling for all these years. You need to bring back the original scent before you lose too many long time customers. It is not really Palmolive unless it smells like Palmolive.

I picked up a bottle of Palmolive and with the first use realized something was not right. It smells horrible definitely did not smell like Palmolive then noticed it was a new formula. It's incredibly harsh on my hands and unfortunately not nearly as effective as the old formula. It went straight in the garbage can. I've been picking up bottles of the original formula when I can find it. I'm not sure what I'll be changing to when my stockpile runs out.

Wow. Enough of an issue to bring forth. A small gathering for a baby shower revealed an overwhelming response to the most recent replacement of Palmolive's original "Softens hands while you do dishes " Scent. The topic of discussion came about as a family member who was helping out in with dishes pointed out the different/unpleasant smell of our Palmolive . This caused our bottle of dish soap to be passed around our crowd to confirm that our noses had not deceived us. Unfortunately- a unanimous thumbs down. I also made mention that the original Aloe scent is now shared with citrus... But why ?? We asked... please give us back our original scent at least. Too many years of greatness replaced for an unknown reason. It wasn't broke- why try to fix it?? If all 9 of us agreed, imagine the millions of people whom we stand on behalf of. I implore you to please bring back the original. I have literally been using it my entire life. One week, it was gone. A few weeks later my husband proudly brought home a bottle of green Palmolive and I was relieved...until I opened it. What is this atrocity? It's AWFUL. The smell is disgusting and the product is not improved. Please bring back the original. There is nothing that can replace the original that we all loved your company for. Just bring it back, please!!

I noticed other detergents where working better than what I had grown accustomed to. So it slowly became my last resort choice. But after washing a few sinkfuls of dishes with the Palmolive I can say that I am thoroughly impressed. My scrubbing time was cut in half. My hands weren't dry and cracked once I was done. No water spots on my glass. I am truly shocked.
