I use this in baking chocolate cakes and frosting all the time. Even when I buy a box cake mix, I use it. When packages say to grease and flour your cake pans, for chocolate cake I don't use flour, I use this. I no longer get that whitish outer layer, that the flour gave my cakes. I personally don't like jar frosting, but my kids do. She they sometimes ask for it on their birthday cakes. I'll usually add some of this whipped in, to cut the sweetness.
