First, be assured that Gummy clumping (or stickiness or moistness) is a sensory issue that does not affect the product’s safety or efficacy. Nature’s Way will not compromise product compliance. Every batch of Nature’s Way gummies is tested in our world class laboratory to confirm adherence to specification for potency and microbiology attributes. While Nature’s Way strives for excellence in delivering gummies with a high nutrient payload and a superb sensory experience, achieving both attributes in a formula can sometimes be challenging. In our gummies, we use pectin rather than gelatin which is a thermal irreversible soluble to help gummies maintain their integrity such that they can be broken apart if they have compacted during transit. Conversely, gelatin gummies can overheat and congeal in transport or storage, such that they fuse together losing individual integrity.
