I don’t like using the style where you have to apply with your fingers as much, but that’s just a personal preference. Overall, it does what it’s supposed to! I do recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Vicks Vaporub since I was a child in the 70s. Over the years, I have relied on this product to help relieve cough and congestion when I am sick. The scent is comforting and nostalgic for me. I thought this would be a no brainer 5 star review because it is a longtime favorite of mine. However, while the active ingredients listed on the last jar I received are the same as my previous jar from several years ago, I noticed that the scent of the ointment is weaker and subtly different. It seemed a bit weaker after it was applied as well, but the difference wasn't as noticeable to me. I did some research and found some information online that says the inactive ingredients are what have been changed. The product still helped with my lingering cough from getting Covid recently, but I prefer the original scent and think it had a more powerful, uplifting effect. I really hope Vicks listens and brings back the old formula, but I do think I might have better luck getting my 7 year old son who dislikes anything "minty" to use this milder version.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Vicks VapoRub Topical Cough Suppressant worked great to help my cough and allow me to get some sleep! The scent almost immediately opened my nasal passages and soothed my chest. This stuff is a must-have!

My mom used this on me as a child when I had a cold. And now I'm almost 80 and I still use it. Really helps get rid of a cough and helps me sleep. It does not, however, seem as strong as it did way back when. I was thrilled to see that Sam's had the larger bottles at a great price.

Really disappointed with my purchase. This product used to be much stronger, but now it barely works. I don’t know why they’ve changed the formula, maybe it’s to cut costs, but they need to change it back. It’s not worth the price anymore.

The effects does not last 8 hours, more like 20 minutes. It leaves a film on your body that does not come off after scrubbing in the shower with soap and water. I would not purchase again..

Love the price for 2. The quantity in each jar is perfect. Sam's is the place I've been getting them since I found them.

This product is like a miracle drug. Helped tremendously with my congested chest..
