It is especially helpful to rub on the chest to provide some relief from coughs or a blocked nose. I like that a little goes a long way so it lasts quite some time. Since it is a jar product, I prefer if it would come in a squeeze tube so I wouldn’t have to put my fingers inside the jar. Other that that, this is a highly used product in my household and it is effective.

I don’t like using the style where you have to apply with your fingers as much, but that’s just a personal preference. Overall, it does what it’s supposed to! I do recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ive been using Vicks vaporub topical cough suppressant for a couple days every night due to muscle aches on my neck and shoulders, I apply a quarter size of Vicks and rub in well until it absorbs. I like the Menthol scent and thick and clear like petroleum consistency that makes it easy apply on my chest to help me sleep well at night because, I have a stuffy nose. I take a warm towel and wrap around my neck with the Vicks applied on my chest and neck and this helps me rest at night by soothing and helping me breath well.

I rubbedVicks VapoRub on my chest and placed a warm cloth on top to help ease my cough and helped me to get some much needed sleep. It also helped to ease my breathing through my nose.
