ZzzQuil, like many other over-the-counter sleep medicines, contains diphenhydramine HCI, an ingredient used to treat occasional sleeplessness. Our product is found to be safe and effective when used as directed, so we take a report such as yours very seriously. If your sleeplessness persists continuously, or for more than 2 weeks, we recommend you stop using ZzzQuil and consult a doctor. Your doctor, pharmacist, or sleep specialist can help you find the right sleep-aid for you.
