In the past I have been prescribed meds for high cholesterol levels but borderline. I did not like the medicine and the price and quit taking it. I saw this in SAMS CLUB and started taking 1 cap a day. I have blood work often for other meds and every time since my cholesterol is fine.

I have genetic hypercholesterolemia, which means my body makes its own cholesterol, which limits the amount I can via food (the good stuff is always the fatty foods). When I was told about phytosterols (plant derived) I wanted to see if it would change the numbers that were always on the blood labs. I consume a diet of increased fruits and vegetables and take Cholest-Off twice daily, with additional beet and cinnamon supplements, to cover blood pressure and blood sugar. My mother was a diabetic and father had Parkinson's; both had plaque in their arteries caused by uncontrolled cholesterol levels. My mother died at 77 years old and my father, four years later at 81. I have been taking Cholest-Off for over five years now and my blood labs reveal I have so much of the HDL (the good cholesterol) that my LDL (the bad one) that it over-rides whatever my LDL is (stable). Take it for a month before blood labs (CBC) and look for the change.

This supplement works! It drastically reduced my high bad cholesterol levels and increased the good cholesterol a bit, and I wasn't even taking it as I should.
