I have been purchasing this product for years. My latest purchase is so disappointing! It is no longer an unscented, lightweight product you can use with or without water. The consistency & awful scent are kin to CHEAP motel shampoo. I will be returning this product & start looking for another that is similar to the original! DO NOT RECOMMEND!

There is a big difference between daily facial cleanser and gentle skin cleanser. The pkg looks similar but the items is entirely different. Daily facial cleanser has a strong scent and it is soooo thick it irritates my skin. I tried adding water in the bottle to dilute it but it didn't help. Made my face bright red. Same company but different product.

I went by the description rather than the package language. Big mistake! It's not the same at all. It is not fragrance free, and not suitable for sensitive skin. I wouldn't even think about using it on an infant. I will be returning it. Sam's: Please use the correct description! Better yet, bring back the traditional Gentle Skin Cleanser!

I have also used the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser for years and accidentally bought the Daily Facial Cleanser at Sams. The Daily Facial Cleanser removes excess oil and deep cleans. It is not good for my sensitive skin. Sam's has always had a great price on this great product. They packaging is almost identical but the product is not. Make sure you are ordering what you want.

Please note, Cetaphil makes two different skin cleansers and their packaging is very similar. There is GENTLE SKIN CLEANSER and there is DAILY FACIAL CLEANSER. Sam’s used to sell the GENTLE cleanser, which is what my dermatologist recommended. He was the one who pointed out that there are two and they look nearly identical if you don’t actually pay much attention to what it says on the packaging. Unfortunately at some point recently, Sam’s started carrying the DAILY FACIAL CLEANSER, and there is a difference between the two, for those that have very sensitive skin, Sam’s is misleading customers by using the word GENTLE in the title of this product as it is not Cetaphil’s “gentle” product. If that is the product you want, then please note, that this one Sams is selling is not the “gentle skin cleanser” you may have purchased in the past.

Product dries my skin.

This product is not the (gentle) daily facial cleanser that they state it is, it is the daily cleanser. The gentle cleanser has almost no scent but the daily cleanser has an offensive odor and is harsh on the skin. I returned it! They used to carry the gentle cleanser but went to the daily cleanser and still advertise that it is the gently cleanser.

First time I bought cetaphil, it helped my hand a lot. Then I ordered this — it is very different, dried out my hands, and within a week, they were in very bad shape. There’s probably nothing wrong with the product, BUT when you purchase one thing at Sam’s, you expect the next time you purchase it, that it’ll be the same product. Not so. Be careful!

I am not happy with the Daily Facial Cleanser. Beware: Fragrance added - the number 1 ingredient that is bad for sensitive skin and causes redness. Sam's no longer carries the Gentle Skin Cleanser, which is fragrance free. Disappointed in Cetaphil, will be returning.
