When I say it tightens the skin, it feels nice when you're rinsing the product off. I personally use it during my skincare routine, and it's a major part of it. My skin normally feels dull, but when I'm done, it makes my skin feel like it belongs to me again. Worth the money.

Why would you change a product that people have been using forever? The"improved product is definitely not improved. It is runny like water.The pump bottle is cheaper ,squirts all over the sink top and continues to drip afterward.After over 30 years of using and highly recommending this product it is time for me to find another facial cleanser.Must be cheaper to make. There are some products you know you can always count on. I always thought Cetaphil was one.

I have been using cetaphil faithfully for years- it cleaned my face without residue, took off makeup, didn't dry my skin. I just purchased a new bottle, and it has definitely changed. It used to be clear and now it's opaque like there is lotion mixed in it. It will not remove makeup no matter how many times I wash my face. It seems like there's a slimy layer left when I rinse my face. What happened?? It doesn't say that it changed, and the only difference seems to be that where I think it used to say face cleanser now it says “for face and body”, but I definitely wouldn't use it for my body, and I won't continue using it for my face. I'll be looking for a new face wash.

It leaves my skin feeling clean without that tight, stripped feeling, and it's super gentle even if your skin gets irritated easily. It foams just enough and keeps things pretty balanced throughout the day. It's not some crazy transformative product, but it's consistent and doesn't mess up your skin barrier. Solid, reliable, and definitely worth 4 stars.

I always reach for a gentle, effective cleanser on nights I don't use my salicylic acid cleanser. No scent, it doesn't lather much, and rinses off easily. I sadly haven't noticed a big difference in breakouts. My skin leans toward the dryer side, and it strips my skin a bit more than I'd like. I will use up my bottle, but not repurchase again. I would recommend to people who have oily and sensitive skin.

On a daily I have been using this cleanser for a month now and dramatically see a difference. This product left my skin much cleaner. I also use this to remove makeup. After swiping my face with a white towel, voila! Its clean as a whistle working better than an actual makeup remover !!!

Cetaphil daily facial cleanser is my go to! I use this cleanser everyday and love it. It leaves my face feeling clean, fresh and soft. I rarely ever have a single pimple and it's great for winter. I struggle with severe dry skin from the cold and my face never drys out or chaps. Highly reccomend based off of how my skin feels alone. Amazing product!

I've been using this face wash for years, and I love it. I would recommend it for anyone who has sensitive skin. It leaves my face feeling clean and hydrated! If you usually have more dry skin, I would definitely recommend adding some cetaphil facial moisturizer on top.
