I can’t say enough about Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser, it’s my go to face cleanser. I’ve been using it for many years and it’s kept my skin well hydrated, clean and very soft to the touch. It leaves a health soft glow to my skin every day. People have complimented me on my skin and ask me what I do to keep it so young looking. I always say, CETAPHIL! Not bad for a woman in her sixty’s.

I got tired of paying high prices for skin care products and decided to go back to Cetaphil, which I've used previously. It is mild and gentle, removes the small amount of make-up that i wear, and does not dry out my skin. I don’t know if this is a different formula from the past, but it seems a bit different than what i remember. But still a good product.

The title for this product "Cetaphil Gentle Daily Facial Cleanser" is incorrect and misleading. This product is Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser, not Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser that I thought I was purchasing. This is a gel. It works well and is a good price, but is meant for normal to oily skin rather than sensitive skin.

For OILY skin. Label does not state this in large print. Anyone over a certain age should be trying to clean and moisturize-Oily skin for most people is a teen thing! Now I have a years supply of face wash that I don’t want.

The product is listed as Gentle Cleanser and that’s how they got me. this is NOT the gentle cleanser, but rather the daily cleanser. If you’ve used Cetaphil products before you would know they are not the same thing. Please consider changing the name so more people don’t end up like myself, with the wrong product.

I have been using Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser for several years. It doesn't have any smell. There is a new version of this product that contains additives; however, the photos that are used by Sam's show the old version. I received the new version of the cleanser; it has such a strong smell that I cannot use it. This purchase was a waste of money. FYI The original version is available online from other sellers who state that there is an old version and a new version.

This is NOT unscented, limited ingredients Gentle Skin Cleanser, which I do use on my face. Gentle Skin Cleanser is very, very gentle & effective. NOT so for “Gentle” Daily Facial cleanser. (which alas IS scented strongly and had other additives which don’t agree with my face. However, it does make a gentle but smelly hand soap).

I received a "New Improved Formula", not that i selected that, and it's really watered-down. Its almost all water, doesn't work the same.

Buyer beware—this is not the traditional Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser! I have mistakenly purchased this twice. It is meant for normal to oily skin.

This product states that it is very gentle on the facial skin even for those like me who have sensitive skin. This is so not true. My skin burned in less than five minutes. It was so raw, red, and bumpy. It took over two weeks to heal and required applying lots of cool water to the face and the application of a natural egg-white facial mask. Before applying the mask I was in pain for days. I love the Cetaphil moisturizing cream and lotion but I do not apply these products to my face. I was really hoping that there was a facial cleaner out there that I can use safely, but I see no matter what the manufacturer advertises, this buyer must continue to beware.
