Nothing helps relieve the pounding and tension in my head like Excedrin. These have acetaminophen and aspirin so it gets straight to the pain and I can get along with my day. This bottle has 100 tablets in it so it lasts a good while. This is also great to use for other pains too, not just headaches.

Yesterday I came home from work and had the worst headache I just thought my head was going to explode, I grabbed 2 Excedrin extra strength and literally my headache was gone in 45 minutes. No drowsiness or stomach just headache relief with out the side affects of other headache tablets.Easy to swallow coated tablets.

Sometimes I get extremely intense headaches that the regular painkillers cannot relieve. In some cases the only relief I can get is sleeping in a dark, quiet room until the headache goes away. This extra strength Excedrin is more effective in treating intense headaches because it combines caffeine with aspirin. I would recommend this medication if you’re sensitive to caffeine or aspirin, but for those that can take these ingredients Excedrin Extra Strength is a wonderful solution for headache relief!

Years ago, my daughter in law 'recommended' Excedrin Migrain. Every time I had a migrain (I thought of her lol) i would take one/ not even 2 as directed...within 10 to 30 minutes at most...all pain gone and no return. In later years, i assume for marketing purposes...there is Excedrin Extra strength/same formula...but i think a bit of different directions on dosage 'to take'. THIS DRUG HAS BEEN A LIFE SAVER FOR ME. Now with 'age'/ i have had two falls...first was i actually broke left foot and wrist...Doctor said, don't take excedrin...why not? something about i may have rebound headaches HUH...and the caffeine is no good. so I 'listened' and suffered thru until all was healed. Sept 18th i had a big fall again..didn't break anything...but left hip has been PAINFUL..that is in addition to the right lower back issues i originally had. Same story...in fact two doctors...internal medicine/ and neurologist prescribed 'other' medications.For some reason/ maybe the FDA got paid off/ anti depressants are now being prescribed for 'other' issues..including lower back pain. So i am 'educated' to know that all medications can have negative side effects...but for sure i don't need to chance taking a medicine where i could become confused...or become depressed....or it also said...thoughts of suicide..HUH...JUST WHAT I DON'T NEED...so i didn't take it...then i was prescribed another anti depressant...same issues...but i was desperate..it kept me awake all night/ and my mouth became dried..ok i would tolerate it...but it didn't help...also i was told to take motrin and tylenol...didn't help...also told to take celebrix...SOMETIMES...i will admit...the other medications or maybe just a coincidence...my issues got a bit relieved...but after one minute of walking or standing...AGAIN SAME ..this morning..it is Nov 4th...i had it...AT 9 AM I TOOK ONE EXCEDRIN EXTRA STRENGTH...MY STUFFED HEAD GOT CLEAR...ALL AND I MEAN ALL THE PAIN IS GONE (IT IS 2:30 P.M.

Whenever I get a bad enough headache, this saves me! I prefer the gel tabs over the standard tablets due to the ease of taking. Very effective, quickly kicks in! You won’t end up stuffing your medicine cabinet full of useless medicine that won’t work when you only need this.

Because of the regular use I think it’s necessary to alternate between the two. My parents also come and visit and cannot take ibuprofen regularly. The 250mg caplets are perfect for them. Excedrin extra strength helps me tolerate my back pain along with a heating pad. I recommend excedrin for those who can tolerate acetomeniphen well.
