After applying it, I feel a cooling sensation that helps calm the pain and stiffness. Smell is not overpowering and doesn’t leave any residue.

It gives real relief without the burning or strong smell some creams have. I actually don’t notice a smell at all once dry. I notice a moderate smell of rubbing alcohol for about 30 seconds after application but this quickly dissipates. Once absorbed this cream does not leave a film and does not transfer onto clothing. It’s easy to apply, dries fast, and actually works. Highly recommend giving it a try if mild to moderate joint pain is part of your day.

Voltaren Arthritis Pain Gel is easy to apply and absorbs quickly, and I liked how easy the included strip made it to measure out the correct dose. However, after following the directions and using the product for the specified amount of time, I didn't notice any real improvement in my elbow pain. Every body is different, so it's still worth a try for pain. It just wasn’t for me.
