It does not leave a sticky residue and it does not stain at all... her preference timr to use it is in the evening when she gets home from work

To be completely honest I'd rather it go back to being a prescription because for us it was cheaper. All I had to pay was a copayment through our insurance to get it. Now we have to pay full price over the counter. It does work great other than the fact.It leaves you feeling kind of sticky.

It’s not recommended for the back, hip or shoulder area. I suggest to read the instructions well before use. I use it on my hand and knee and it works wonders. I highly recommend Voltraren!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After trying this pain relieving gel I'm still not convinced it works. I tried this for my minor knee pain and I didn't notice a difference. I also had my husband try this out for his aches and pains, and he also said that wasn't sure if it helped at all. I usually get some arthritis in my hands due to the cold weather. But I haven't had to use this for pain yet, but I will try this in the future and see if it helps then.

I applied it, first it was like a burning sensation, similar to icy hot, then slowly its almost like it numbed my knee. Very impressed. Would definitelybuy again.

It did absorb the pain after a few days. I highly recommend to consult your doctor before using it in case of any allergies.
