[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stuff seems to work but I bought this for my mom to use on her hands and due to the warnings and side effects she advised against it . My husband tried and he says it definitely works. He also used it on his hands. He says he feels like he has to wash his hands because he doesn't want to get it in his mouth or eyes. Also, he has very dry hands, and even after applying lotion, it takes a good amount to rub all over hands. We determined that even though it works, due to how expensive it is for such a small amount that for us the benefit doesn't warrant the price we would have to pay to use it regularly.

Side effects from OTC and Rx drugs can add up when taken often for chronic issues like arthritis. Found this to be very effective.

However it seems like the relief doesn’t last for very long, maybe an hour or two. I would recommend if you have bad arthritis pain in your hands or knees. The gel goes on smooth and absorbs quickly without feeling greasy or sticky. There is a slight scent but its pleasant and not overwhelming. This is a definite staple for my medication cabinet!

Three years ago Ihad to have all five fingers on my right hand amputated and arthritis got really bad after the amputation. I have been looking for something to help with the arthritis every since and when I recieved the Voltaren Arthritis Pain Gel in a Voxbox I was excited to try it. I tried the Voltaren Arthritis Pain Gel to see if it would help and was relieved when it started to help get rid of the pain in my hand. It works great and has a pleasant smell also. I was surprised to actually find something that helped with the arthritis pain. I am definitely going to keep using the gel now that I know it really helps.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this stuff for minor joint pain and I share it with my mother-in-law who suffers from terrible arthritis. It works great for both of us. We just apply it topically over the area that aches and within minutes the pain is nullified. My only complaint is that the relief doesn't last as long as, say, taking something orally for the pain. But when it works, it's highly effective! I just wish it would provide us with relief for more than just an hour or so.

I have figured out how to use Voltaren on my arthritic knee to allow me to complete specific tasks rather than obtaining round-the-clock pain reduction. This not only saves money but also helps avoid a gastro bleed that NSAIDS can cause in those susceptible to them like myself. I find Voltaren to be so effective that it can keep me out of a wheelchair for specific tasks or when there is a family event to attend. Those with vascular issues will want to inform their doctor about their usage of Voltaren. Yes, it's only a topical cream but that can be misleading as it seems to be absorbed very efficiently.
