I guess in conjunction with other products such as Advil it can help speed the relief along a bit faster. The length of time for it to likely take effect or you feel any noticeable effect is 7 days, this is long especially when most people would like immediate relief. Noticable slight scent.

It instructs you to apply four times per day, using the dosing card, for up to 21 days. I found this to be too frequent and inconvenient for me.
