The flip-top cap is very convenient—no more fumbling with screw tops, especially when his hands are sore. The gel absorbs quickly without a greasy feel and effectively targets joint pain and inflammation. It’s not for immediate relief, though—it takes some time to start working so consistent daily application is key. I also like the enclosed dosing card which makes it easy to measure the right dose. The fact that it’s available over-the-counter and doesn’t have a strong medicinal smell is another plus. It does help relieve joint pain in his hands, so for us, it’s a reliable option for managing arthritis pain in the extremities.

I like that it's a gel and penetrates the skin with no mess. It doesn't smell like anything either, so that's also a plus. I would purchase again.

So this will be given to my grandmother to use she’s always complaining of aches and pains all over most especially her lower extremities. This should do the job. I’ll make a care package for her with this included I think she will love it!

Voltaren Arthritis pain gel is a great product to have on hand. This is especially true if you suffer from arthritis specifically in your hands, wrist, elbow, knees etc. It comes in an easy to squeeze tube and you basically just rub it in. The relief is not immediate but does help over time and extended use.

Arthritis pain is definitely hard to treat, but this does a decent job. With the change of weather, my wrists usually start to hurt and this helps take the edge off. It’s effective, but won’t take away all of your pain unfortunately. Would recommend for moderate arthritis.

I use the product on my arthritic knees and it seems to help. Voltaren recently replaced a screw off cap with a flip-top. The new flip top is a terrible design and makes the product hard to use. The flip-top is in the way when using the dosing card and you tend to over or under medicate and to make a big mess. Go back to the screw off cap!

So there are so many exclusions on what you can use this for. I suffer from chronic back and hip pains and unfortunately I wasn’t able to use it on any of it. I have arthritis in my spine but yet can’t use arthritis medication on it? Doesn’t make sense to me.

It does not leave a sticky residue and it does not stain at all... her preference timr to use it is in the evening when she gets home from work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging is nice and it was easy to open. It was a cream and absorbed quickly without leaving a greasy residue. There was hardly any smell which I liked. It took a few days to work but that was to be expected per the instructions. My only concern is that since it is a NSAID you have to be careful to make sure you don’t apply too much or too often. Which may be an issue with older folks to remember.
