I use this gel for my arches & wrists. It helps when I put it on at night & everything feels better by morning. My only complaint is the consistency of the product. No matter how careful I am, it comes out of the tube so easily that it drips all over my clothes, my carpet & my bed before I can get it rubbed in. Very annoying to have to clean up after. The new cap is very easy to use.

I'll be honest, the warnings with this one freaked me out and I didn't use it. There were far too many precautions listed in the very detailed instructions that were included, and I was too afraid to risk it. I have friends and family that swear by it, but my need wasn't great enough that I was willing to roll the dice with Voltaren.

I've been using Voltaren Arthritis Pain Gel on a sore wrist from overuse. Verdict: it takes the edge off pain and stiffness so I can get through typing and sleep better. I used this for the first time. I was finally able to get some sleep the entire night without waking up with my knee in pain. I waited so long to buy this because of the price but it was definitely worth it compared to similar products. But, YOU MUST READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! Someone told me it didn't work for them, but when I questioned them, I found that they were using it improperly. You use it 4 times a day, and don't let fabric touch it for 10 minutes. A bit of a pain, but a small price to pay for the results in my case.

Painkillers in pill form gave me a mild, General reduction in pain whereas this product could be applied directly to the painful site and was a lot more effective especially for tiny areas like my knuckles.
