He did start to notice improvement towards the end of the tube so we purchased another to continue treatment. Overall he says his pain has decreased, allowing him to have longer workouts with less pain.

It provided pain relief for a couple of hours ( I have it in my wrists and it sometimes makes working at my computer hard) this gel was a nice relief.

This product really helps in easing my joint pain. Do yourself a favor and give it a try, you won't regret it. It is not at all greasy. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Voltaren is a decent topical gel for managing arthritis pain, but for me, it worked best when paired with Tylenol Arthritis pills. On its own, the relief was only moderate, but using both together gave me the most noticeable improvement. The gel itself absorbs quickly, which I really appreciate—no sticky residue or long wait time. It also has a pleasant scent that’s much lighter than Biofreeze or Icy Hot, though it still has a similar type of smell. It is very effective and reduces the pain significantly. The amounts to be used at on the side of the box and they are important, because it is an NSAID. There are also specific areas in which it can be used. Nice gel if you suffer with chronic pain.

Unlike traditional topicals that can burn or freeze, this is a fairly thick gel that is slightly cool but has no strong odor or extreme temperature sensation. The included thick plastic dosing card helps me to dispense the correct amount for either a lower or upper body area. The card is easy to wash afterward and is sturdy enough for repeated use. Additionally, free replacements are available upon request. The 20 gram tube that I received for review purposes was sufficient for several applications but not enough for me to know how well it can deliver relief, as the instructions indicate that it can take some time to reach therapeutic levels. I do observe what I’d consider to be some welcome loosening of a tight ankle joint about 10 minutes after application. Please pay very careful attention to all the label information, as this is a powerful product that is not recommended for certain groups of people. Additionally, there is a specific warning about alcohol consumption. I like that this is a very targeted medication and that the manufacturer has included such specific instructions for its use. I’m just not fully convinced that it is the solution for me based on this limited sampling experience.

The Voltaren gel is great for joint pain specifically knee pain is what I used it for. It numbs the pain and it stays that way for a day or two sometimes longer. It comes with a convenient dosing card that makes it easy to dispense the proper dosage. I highly recommend! #voltaren
