I am allergic to ibuprofen and have stayed away from oral NSAIDs. Found out topical isn't an issue. After day 4 of daily use, I noticed my knee wasn't nearly as tender feeling and throughout the day, it stayed like that. Made me a believer. It will now be a regular item in the medicine cabinet. Absorbs quickly, dries clear and has no discernible smell.

The Volatren Arthritis Pain Gel works wonders to target the pain directly. The doseage card helps so I was able to know exactly how much to use because this is a medicated cream that, as the directions state, can only be used on certain areas and a certain amount. There is no medicated odor from this gel, or it is very faint, so that is pleasant. Its nice to apply the gel directly to the areas on my hands where it works. I did experience relief from pain but no numbness. I was able to work after applying and the relief helped me do my job.

I had to give up running and stick to biking but I still get some pain and this helps relieve the pain. It’s not (at least to me) intense or super numbing like an icy hot. It’s a gentle tingle that helps lessen pain. I’m getting back into cycling and this will be my side kick for my pesky knee issues.
