However, there's no generic acetaminophen that compares to Original Tylenol. This particular formulation is exceptionally effective and provides fast pain relief! I was quite disappointed with the effectiveness of the Tylenol Extra Strength Rapid-Release Gelcaps (500mg) for relieving my acute arthritic knee pain. I'm going back now to taking my Tylenol 8HR Arthritis Pain (650mg) caplets that really do the job as advertised!!!
