HUM

We eat grits every day and these are the best. Sam's Club is the only place I can find this 3 pack for a great price and they bring it to my door!

Old outdated product.

Love Quaker grits.... The product was out of date. Took lots of phone calls and a lot of time to get a refund. Terrible customer service!

Helping Friends could not acquire in NYC

Family friend needed help by sending a 3 mths supply. Grit in their household is something they eat almost daily. Just happy to help out

Love it but need info about it

We both love grits both alone and as the important base part of several of our favorite recipes. Since we’re both counting calories, I have a question for Quaker about the nutrition label. It lists a serving as 1/4 cup of grits for 130 calories. Does this mean the volume of 1/4 cup measured dry, before cooking, has 130 calories? (I hope that’s what it means.) Or, does it mean that 1/4 cup of the cooked/reconstituted grits has 130 calories? I love them either way, just curious. Thanks for a great product, Quaker!

I really like this product with a butter and sugar and some black pepper with bacon and egg that’s how I can remember eating this when I little girl even though I’m a diabetic I use splendid and just don’t eat as much because I do really enjoy this product as do me two of me kids the others just don’t like the texture so they’re oatmeal babies!

My families favorite breakfast

This is my recipe for a quick breakfast. I make one half box of grits with 8 cups of water, salt, pepper and butter and cook in the microwave in a large bowl with a paper plate as the cover so that it does not bowl over. Cook for 15 minutes and the grits come out perfect.. Spoon a portion of grits into a bowl, add egg beaters, bacon, feta cheese and coby jack cheese and microwave for about 4 minutes. This is a great breakfast bowl. You can refridgerate the remain grits. The next morning just pull out the grits and make more breakfast bowls with your desired ingredients.

Not 5 Minutes, More Like 5 Hours

I've made these as directed and like other reviews they had a gritty texture which is not pleasant. I've given them a few more tries using different liquids and cooking times. So far the creamiest grits were cooked in my small/mini slow cooker for about 6 hours or so on low using water. Butter, cheese and salt at the end was needed for flavor; they were terribly bland otherwise. Thanks to the other reviews who suggested the slow cooker. Good luck everyone!
