Easy breakfast! I like to keep some in little containers to bring to work and make there when I’m running late. I usually mix in things like fruit, raisins, peanuts, peanut butter, chocolate chips, etc to make it a little more fun to eat. It’s pretty bland on its own.

Wholesome and Hearty !

I’m diabetic so Wuaker oats plays a big part in keeping my A1C right where is belongs ! Do your homework folks ! This is a heart healthy meal any time of the day ! And they’re just as much delicious as they are nutritious! You can add fruits and peanut butter and so much more ! I keep stocked up ! They’re also affordable! And Quaker has been around longer than I have !!

I buy these thinking

I buy these thinking I’m going to eat healthier. Moral of the review yes the oatmeal is okay long as I add butter and brown sugar to them. However, I love the old fashioned grits a thousand times more than this bland oatmeal lol. Still buy this a few times a year though.

Bring back Wilford Brimley

I have always enjoyed Quaker's products, however, my true wish is that you guys bring back Wilford Brimley to star in a new series of commercials. I don't care how much you have to pay him, just make it happen. Seriously, if you manage to get him to return, I will be the happiest person in the world. Diabeetus.

A 5-generation love affair

My grandfather ate it religiously every morning for 24 years after he had a heart attack. Mom ate it with my sister and I when we were growing up. One morning when my son was around two years old, I asked him what he wanted for breakfast. He pointed toward the Quaker Oats canister and said, "Grampa Pettys". It didn't compute so I asked again and got the same reply. In the process of clarifying with him that oatmeal was what he meant, I realized that the face on the canister did look like our Grampa Petty. Oatmeal was now referred to as Grampa Pettys in our home. I now have two grandchildren who love oatmeal and call it Grampa Pettys. Additionally, the gazillions of Chocolate Chip cookies that have been made for three generations, starting with my mother, have included oats. Until I was in my teens, I didn't know that not everyone put oats in their Chocolate Chip cookies. My mom's cookies were always the best.

Been eating this for decades

Something changed recently. The oats do not absorb water much anymore or become creamy. It cooks more like a soup now. I have been eating this for breakfast for decades and not I am not sure I like it anymore. I even tried putting them in Milk over night and it was still like soup. The creamy oats are gone. What did they do to the oats. Makes me wonder if they are not healthily anymore. Seems like they coated them in something to not allow the oats to absorb moisture. Also I tried baking oatmeal cookies. I had to change the recipe to make the cookies good. The oats are definitely not the same anymore. Before they changed I would have rated them a 5 star.

Best way to start the day.

Quaker old fashioned oats gives me a morning boost. In addition, it's an ingredient I can count on when I want cookies or delicious oatmeal bread. If I want oat flour for baking, I just whiz some old fashioned oats in my food processor. This product is a delicious and reliable pantry staple in our house.

Love this brand of oatmeal. It’s cost effective and really good with some cinnamon and oat milk or brown sugar and oat milk. I recently have been eating this all the time now that I’m nursing my son and it’s been said to increase your milk supply. I do have a good supply not sure if the oatmeal is helping but it’s definitely not giving me issues.

Breakfast With a Smile

I enjoy my traditional style oatmeal because its a simple but versatile start to my day. I love adding different ingredients such as fresh fruit, yogurt, nuts and granola. Oatmeal is healthy, fulfilling and does not take much time to prep. This product is high in fiber, maintain one's weight and is a good diet contributor. This is why I wake in the morning with a smile.
