Eating Quaker Oatmeal for 60+ years

I did have one container of Quaker Oatmeal that was very lite and the rest of the oats were powdery and small. I by the 5 minute oatmeal and I never ever cook it in the microwave! In fact I turn of burner at 4 minutes, put the top on and let it sit another 5 minutes. I also put more oatmeal than it calls for because I like mine chewy and not mushy! I also add raisins just as the water starts boiling! Please send me the original oatmeal cookie recipe and not this vanishing one. Thanks P.S. I liked the new design of the box! Old fashion!

These oats are a

These oats are a “pro-oats” must have. Inuslly mix with water and protein powder in the morning and they’re delish. They obviously come bare and therefore have a lot less sugar and fake ingredients than pre made oats. Extremely versatile and a must have for any gym rat

I have loved Quaker Oats for 58 years:)

My grandmother was a health nut and I remember that she would slowly cook oats in a covered pot. When the oats were cooked to a nearly smooth texture, we would add a small pat of butter, a half spoon of honey, and a teaspoon of wheat germ for a nutty flavor. Nowadays, I can just add butter, applesauce and cinnamon for a just right meal.

When I have time

When I have time on the weekends I like a nice warm bowl of Quaker Oatmeal. I do not like instant oatmeal so, this is my go to when I have time to spend stirring the pot for the perfect bowl. If I’m crunched for time I go for the Quaker 1 minute oatmeal

Wonderful and yet…

I love these oats. I would SO love Quaker Buttery Oat Cakes; a cracker type concoction I have in my mind. The ingredients should have no wheat, though they Might possibly be crisped up with the addition of brown rice flour or extra fine corn grits. The oils could be just butter, or possibly add some MCT, coconut, or olive oil. I think you could make these and make a profit . Hurry please I’m so hungry.

What changed?

I just bought a new package of Quaker Oats Old Fashioned oatmeal and it doesn't cook like it use to?? I've been eating this for years and just recently had this problem. I almost had someone out to look at my microwave but thankfully saw the same issues with others.

Reduce Sugar

In an effort for a more healthy product, please consider a sugar reduction on the instant Raisin, Date and Walnut flavor. The raisins and dates add sweetness and less sugar would improve health benefits. I eat it nearly every morning and sometimes stores sell out of that flavor.

This product is perfect

This product is perfect for my overnight oats! I take oats with almond milk and put in some jello cheesecake putting mix and cut up cherries or any fruit and put in in the fridge overnight. I love to top it with more cherries and some pb! So delicious

Wouldn't start my day without Quaker Oats!

We eat Quaker Oats, Old fashioned, almost every morning. Even if we eat breakfast out occasionally, I look forward to Quaker Oats the next morning. I call it Good Morning Oatmeal. I like the hardier taste of the old fashioned oats rather than the instant. I even love to spoon out the Quaker Oat goodness into my husband and my bowls in the morning. We feel good, too, about the health benefits of the nutritional value of Quaker Oats. We don't even get hungry again until several hours later.

I'm dissapointed

I have been using Quaker Oats for over 60 years. Last month I bought a new box and it did not cook right. I threw it out & got a new box, same thing, the texture is not what it always was. I cooked oatmeal for my family for a lot of years, but I am concerned. Do you have a solution? What is different?
