I find myself making

I find myself making this in the morning when I have extra time to cook it and it’s relatively on the healthier side, so I would eat it on the day I work out. Usually when making this I follow up with some cinnamon and other fruits such as strawberry and banana to give it more flavor.

Actually my kids didn't get a chance to eat

the first bite because moths got BOTH BAGS BEFORE they were even opened! I have never had this problem before. First I get it with Nabisco graham crackers, and now I get it with the most ANCIENT of food products I buy! I only had the box for 3 months.

Packaging issue

The last container of Quaker Old Fashioned Oats I purchased did not have the plastic rim around the top of the container. I nearly spilled my oats in my cupboard this morning when I grabbed the container and started lifting it up and off the shelf! I transferred the oats into a food storage container so this won't happen again. However, I am frustrated that I had to do that and curious as to why the company would change its packaging. I haven't decided if I'll buy this brand again since I have found cheaper brands to be just as satisfying as Quaker and have better packaging.

Maggots in Oatmeal

Simply put, my oatmeal had maggots in it. The nest if used by date is Feb 10, 2016. I am very unhappy about this now I am concerned about the other packets I have and must spend 15-20 min sifting through the oatmeal looking for bugs. Worse than that, they don't always show when they're dry.

Good Oatmeal - Poor packaging (bottom)

Bottom of the container is sealed poorly and the contents can easily spill out. Quaker need to improve the sealing of the bottom of container or provide a 2nd lid that fits the bottom. The product itself is good but so very disappointing to see the contents spilled out in the shipping container or after the container has been opened.

Best way to begin the day!

My day begins with a bowl of oats everyday. I soak it overnight in almond milk add dry fruit cherries, dates,or raisins no need for sugar sweeteners. I cook it three minutes in the microwave in the morning. A filling breakfast. Love it especially in the winter!

Going back to store brand - Something Changed?

I have been eating oatmeal for decades and always went with store brand. I decided to try Quaker since everyone said it was better. I mixed up my first batch with the classic 2:1 ratio and is was extremely watery. I have always used the Easy as 123 method. 1 scoop oatmeal, 2 scoops of water, and 3 sweet n lows. I eventually got it to be the right thickness but the ratio was way off, more of a 1:1 ratio. I wasted so much oatmeal to try to get there and based on what I am seeing here, I may just go back to what worked for me.

Picky Palate Loves this oatmeal

My 4 year old and I are very picky eaters, we gravitate towards carbs and junk food. oatmeal has been on my family's weekly meal plan for a while but my husband makes it for only himself, my mom and our daughter because me and our son would never even taste it but last week, i got tired of looking for an alternative for both of us so I decided that we would both give it a try and just like magic, we went from hating the sight of oatmeal (for no apparent reason) to loving it.now my son asks for it by name. I just made me some oatmeal now while typing this review! :-) very filling and tasty, who knew? lol

My go-to for oatmeal. The other kinds tend to get mushy and I like my oatmeal to be soft but not like a mush. These oats are super filling and have the full oat, so a much better texture. I usually mix cinnamon and honey in while its boiling and it’s so good! Really easy and fast to make as well. Showed a picture of some of it with chia and cinnamon.

For my High Cholesterol and general health!

I loved Quaker oats as a child! Don't know when or why I quit eating them yet I did not eat them for years. I came across an online site about the health benefits of eating my oats and started eating them again. I eat almost on a daily basis again boy are they ever unchanging and yet still so delicious. Wish I could get enough to eat them more than I do now. I even add them to my snack foods such as yogurt, pudding, and all sorts of ways to soups and stews. I even sit and snack on them raw I love them so much. Thank you Quaker!
