Heart Healthy portion no longer on package

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I eat Quaker Oats Old Fashioned every morning. I use the Heart Healthy serving 3/4 cup. But I have noticed it is no longer shown on the packaging. Only 1 serving (1/2 Cup) or 2 servings (1-3/4 Cups). Why has this been removed?

wish it was gluten free

My wife needs gluten free. She makes Red Mill gluten free oatmeal, while I make regular Quaker Old Fashioned Oats. They look and taste the same. What would be so hard about making Quaker's gluten free? Oats are inherently gluten free, right? We prefer the old fashioned over instant, etc.

Not the original old fashion Quaker Oats

I’m in my 60s I grew up eating Quaker Oats. As I remember old-fashioned quaker oats takes more than five minutes to cook. Today I couldn’t figure out why my old-fashioned quaker oats was soupy, until I read the instructions and it said cooks in five minutes. Even though it is still delicious old fashion quaker oats takes more than five minutes on the stove top and have a stronger oat consistency. Now old fashion equal five minute oatmeal, no good

Wow, this is the

Wow, this is the same good old fashioned Quaker oats I've been eating for years. So much less expensive than buying it at the grocery store. I mix mine with almonds, flax seed, raisins, nutmeg, cinnamon, wheat bran, and water, sometimes thinly sliced apples. So good, so healthy, and it keeps me satisfied all morning! I love this stuff!

Every morning!

After reading many people complaining about the oats being mushy..... Maybe it's not being prepared correctly. I put 1 cup water with a sprinkle of salt in a saucepan and heat until full boil. Then add 1/2 cup oats with either 1/3 cup raisins or craisins. Give one quick stir with a wooden spoon and turn down to med. cook for 5 min. (No need to stir again) Serve and the Quaker Oats are perfect every time!

Quick nutritional breakfast

Quaker Oats is my favorite brand of oats that I used them in my breakfast or healthy cookies. The oak texture of this brand is much better than Safeway own market brand. The favors supports the brand's reputation. It's kind of having a great chewy texture of the outcome.

I have loved Quaker Oats for 58 years:)

My grandmother was a health nut and I remember that she would slowly cook oats in a covered pot. When the oats were cooked to a nearly smooth texture, we would add a small pat of butter, a half spoon of honey, and a teaspoon of wheat germ for a nutty flavor. Nowadays, I can just add butter, applesauce and cinnamon for a just right meal.

I love Quakers Oats, I as a kid liked the minute because it was so fast cooking. Now as a adult I prefer the old fashion. It is so reasonable price. During the Holidays we use Old Fashioned oats for cookies and my favorite the no bake cookies. Sweets a side Oatmeal is fantastic meal energy producing food.

Nothing better to start your day!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to laugh at my mom and grandparents when they ate the same thing every morning. But I LOVE my Quaker Oats every morning. It satisfies without putting all the unnecessary things in my body like sodium, and cholesterol, and high calories. It gives me the energy I need. And I don't get hungry until lunchtime. It helps stop the morning snacking. PS I only get Quaker Oats brand. I've tried the others but they always seem to have pieces of whatever that spoils the eating experience. I will not buy anything except the real brand. QUAKER OATS
