Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free in exchange for a review. The review is of my own opinion and is no way influenced by the sample.I used this product to make a chocolate glaze to top a strawberry cake with lemon filling. Chocolate melted nicely, was not too sweet, and did not separate when melted. Would definitely use again.

Yummy

Nestles Semi-sweet Morsels are a staple in my pantry. Of course Toll House chocolate chip cookies are a favorite of my husband and three sons. Whenever I want to add just a bit more chocolate to any of my recipes, I add a handful of Nestles Chocolate Morsels.

NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels

NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels are the best and easiest chocolate morsels to work with, especially during the holidays when you are crunched for time and looking for delicious results. We have been using these for years. They are a family tradition. When we open a bag we immediately think of family traditions and holidays. I highly recommend them.

Yummy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free sample of Nestlé Toll House semi sweet chocolate chips and made these for my family. They loved them! The chocolate is smooth and creamy. Melts with perfection. Can't wait to make many other things.

My Favorite

I grew up using these in cookies, and now (many years later!) share the joy of these fabulous chocolate chips with my grandchildren. Whenever they are over they look in the pantry for these iconic chocolate chips and ask if we can make cookies. Wouldn't be without them!

So delicious and so simple to make.

Nestle Toll House semi-sweet Chocolate Morsels remain a staple in my pantry. A big bonus is the Toll House recipe on the back of the bag so you don't even have to hunt around for your recipe. The cookie dough is so versital. You can dress it up with cranberries, nuts or mix in white chocolate or both. Put some cookie dough in a desert cup and bake. Top with ice cream and a strawberry for fancy deserts. It's all good.

My go-to

I always keep at least one bag in my pantry to either make toll house cookies or to add to other recipes to elevate them. I melt them to make fudge, drizzle them over sweet banana bread or make Christmas crack any time of the year. I also eat them right out of the bag but don't tell anyone.

Best. Chips. Ever!

I've tried many different brands of chocolate chips....from other name brands to smaller store brands. By far....Nestle makes THE BEST chocolate chips for baking. My children were always able to tell the difference and they have let me know I'm to use Nestle and ONLY Nestle for all cookies and baking. My favorite cookie to make with Nestle Toll House Morsels is, of course, chocolate chip. Chocolate chip muffins are my second favorite treat to bake. I like to sneak a little flaxseed into my cookies and muffins to boost the fiber and protein content (shhh.....don't tell my kids lol)

Good Quality Product

Nestle has always been a primary product for myself and my family members. Although I cannot personally eat them, due to my food allergies and intolerances, my siblings have always given rave reviews. Based on how I see their quality for melting and baking, they are quite good! For instance, they melt very nicely and bake wonderfully. They keep their form, but melt into delicious gooeyness! They have that perfect balance between sweet and bitter. I keep them sealed with a rubberband and in the freezer, especially since Texas has horrible warm weather. The ingredients are not always the most "organic," but for the price, it's not that bad. Unless I am baking for special events (which I usually purchase a higher quality chocolate), these are a very good selection!

This is NOT the same chocolate

I've been baking since the 1960's & always used Nestles morsels, but it no longer melts or spreads the way it always did. My handling of the chocolate is no different than it ever was, so I do not accept that as the reason it seizes. The semi-sweet, milk and butterscotch morsels are all vastly inferior in both texture and taste to what I've used for 50+ years, and I am terribly disappointed. I don't care for the taste of Hershey or Ghirardelli chocolates in my baking so I have not found an acceptable alternative. Please go back to your old formulas, even if the price has to rise - what you're producing now is not worth buying or using.
