We all know that is is the gold standard for chocolate chip cookies but my use of them also include flourless chocolate cake. Instead of "chopping up some chocolate" I use a cup full of semi-sweet morsels instead. The result is fantastic! Many who have tried the cake are surprised that I used Nestle Morsels. Nestle's semi-sweet morsels are the best for baking! They have the best taste and the original Toll House cookie recipe is my one and only chocolate chip cookie recipe I will make. I also use them in chocolate chip pancakes. Definitely my family's favorite.

I was extremely disappointed to pop a handful of semi sweet chocolate chips into my mouth while baking and they had a horrible taste! I thought it must have reacted with the coffee I had been drinking so tried a few more and some bad flavor!! Still clung to hope that my baking would be fine but was oh so terribly disappointed it didn't have the rich wonderful flavor that nestle has always had. Decided to search online to see if they had changed recipes and realized I'm definitely not the only baker that is really wishing for the original chips back!! Please Nestle listen to your customers!!!

I have used these chips for over 30 years! This year I cannot get them to melt so I can dip my coconut balls. They start to melt....then nothing but a huge glob. I have tried microwave and my double boiler. Same results. Surprising, my sister and my daughter have both had the same problem this year. What have you changed????

I was thirteen when I started baking with nestles semi-sweet chocolate chips, that was over 50 years ago, they were my favorites then and still are. I taught my girls how to bake with them and my granddaughter! Needless to say, we are all still baking with them, guess you could say it's a tradition for us!

Good balance between sweet and bitter. Stands out well in cookies and brownies. Maintained its texture well and was very easy to bake with in the recipes I made. Really enjoyed the chocolatey taste. I received this product free provided as part of promotion.

Making a receipt where I have add chocolate on top of hot caramel. The chips are supposed to melt so that I can spread them. No dice- they wont melt. Then i tried them in a hot oven. They still wont melt. I wonder if they now have some sort of wax in them. Wont use them again. I will miss a childhood favorite.
