Only one on my shelf

Just used up some to jive up a boring cookie recipe. Threw in some leftover Nestle chocolate chips and Nestle butterscotch chips. Raw dough was yummy; baked cookies were gone in 24 hours...and there's only two of us. Ps. Don't tell the dietary gurus.

Giving up Nestle for good.

The chips don't melt anymore. Such a horrible pain. I've used them for years but finally giving up since it's just not worth spending an hour trying to melt chips. I've switched to Ghiradelli chips. They melt perfectly to a smooth and glossy finish. Totally willing to pay the higher price for something that works well, looks better and even tastes better. Bye, Nestle ☹️

Bring back the old morsels

I frequently buy Nestle morsels and have been noticing something off with my cookies in the last couple months. I went to different stores, checked expiration dates, etc thinking maybe there was a bad batch circulating. Today I just realized the bag says "richer and creamier" I'm not sure what that process entails but I definitely feel it has ruined the flavor! Nestle are the only chocolate chips I will buy because of their consistent, classic flavor. Please revert back to your original process because these taste awful!!

Thanks for letting us know your thoughts! We'll let our bakers know you're missing our previous morsels. We didn't add any new ingredients to our morsels, but we've improved our morsel-making process to enhance the indulgent chocolate taste and increase the creaminess of our melt to ensure we're producing the absolute best. ,Toll House® Brand Ambassador,Teresa, clientresponse

Too expensive

I am using the less expensive brands. I was at Walmart this week and they want almost $10.00 for the largest bag of your chocolate chips. I can no longer afford you folks! I joined about 20 years ago. I thought this website would give me coupons occasionally. I have lost interest in your emails. Shame on you folks.........

Nestle Makes The Vesry Best

I bake at least once a week and always have chocolate morsels on hand. Because I'm price conscious, I have occasionally purchased other brands than Nestle, including store brands which have a retail price that's always less than name brands. But in the end, I always go back to Nestle because I've yet to find any other baking chips that have the freshness, quality, and taste that compares to Nestle. Nestle morsels taste like quality, rich semi-sweet chocolate. The chips always taste and look fresh, unlike other brands I've purchased that sometimes have both a chalky appearance and lack-luster taste. Nestle morsels are consistently uniform in their appearance from their flat bottoms to their pointed tips. I've found that Nestle morsels also melt easier and are less likely to seize than other brands. In my mind, there is simply no substitute for Nestle morsels if you're baking any type of cookie or bar that calls for chocolate chips. Because I'm price conscious, I wait until my stores are having sales on Nestle and then I'll purchase several bags at a time. That ensures I'm buying the best morsels at a price that's at least equal to or even less than other brands. My only critique is that I hardly ever see or find coupons for Nestle morsels. Even if coupons are not offered in a Sunday paper or magazine insert, it would be nice to see them occasionally in the Nestle Very Best Baking emails.

Can't have enough on hand!

I always have 4 to 5 packages of semi-sweet morsels on hand and 1 or 2 of dark chocolate and butterscotch morsels. I love to bake and we love chocolate: I generally bake from scratch. Whatever the mood or our tastebuds dictate , you can rest assured that Nestles semi- sweet morsels will be in the finished product!

So Versatile!

I love using the many different Nestle morsels to make various kinds of fudge! I make my fudge my melting the morsels and stirring in a can of ready made frosting. For example, my favorite is using the white chocolate morsels with cream cheese frosting then adding dried cranberries and pecan pieces. I've used the dark chocolate morsels with salted caramel frosting. Yummy. I have some mint morsels in my fridge right now that I want to mix with a dark chocolate fudge frosting. I take this fudge to work to share since I live alone and wouldn't be able to get out of the door if I ate all the goodies I can make with Nestle's morsels!

So LOVE these morsels

Whenever I break out the baking ingredients the ONLY morsels I use are NESTLES. I use them to bake all types of cookies, brownies and dipped pretzels (of all types). I even love all of the variety of flavors available. All of my family and friends can't wait for either bake sales I run for my Non-profit or for the Holidays to arrive (pretty much any Holiday) because delicious cookies plus are not far behind.

Bad Batch? Waxy and tasteless!

Waxy and tasteless. Thought maybe I'd gotten a stale bag of Nestle's Semi-Sweet morsels but the date is good thru Fall 2019. Chips were flavorless - my cookies were terrible. Looks like others have had the same issue. Also the amount of chips in the bag is less. Had to switch brands (have used Nestle chips since I was a kid.)

Great tasting!

Nestle semi-sweet morsels is my go to chocolate chips for my baking needs (and a little snacking while I bake). Quality is always consistent. I love the taste it gives my baked goods. I have been using this product for over 50 years and it never disappoints.
