When sprinkled on top of a dessert, then placed back into the oven, most Toll House Semi-Sweet Morsels soften. Once cooled, your dessert chew is firmer and more wide spread with the softening and spreading of the morsels. It was a delightful discovery for me.

I always use Nestle chocolate chips in my baking and snacking. Their consistent smooth and rich flavor makes everything just a little better. My children are grown now, but warm chocolate chip cookies will always be their favorite no matter what age they get.

This is not actually a new problem. I actually noticed this happening five or ten years ago. Your morsels WILL NOT FULLY MELT in the family fudge recipe that has been used for over fifty years. If I waited until they were fully melted the fudge would be too cold to pour out of the kettle. When did you change the melting point of the chips and WHY??? I suspect you wanted to improve their behavior in cookies, which is fine I suppose, but I have had to adjust my standards for fudge to include small intractable lumps of chocolate in what should have a smooth mouthfeel.

I can always depend on Nestle's Chips to add robust chocolate flavor to my desserts. I've also used the cinnamon chips for Snickerdoodle bread! I've used other brands in the past that do not melt and/or have a waxy or non-tasty flavor. I'm not taking chances anymore! Go for the Nestle's brand!

I like to snack on a few (10ish) chocolate chips as a less fattening alternative to dessert. They used to be crisper, darker in color with more of a bitter sweet chocolate taste. The new chips are oilier, softer, sweeter, don't have the slight whitish haze on the outside, and lack that clean chocolate taste. The company is not telling the truth that the recipe is not different. Either that or they made a large batch of chips that was incorrectly formulated and they are trying to sell them out before marketing the correct batch. Which is it.

I love to bake and when I do it is always with Nestle Toll House chips - my husband loves the butterscotch ones when I make a cashew butterscotch bar and my dad loves the white chips in his white chocolate macadamia nut cookies. Chocolate chips are used in many of my cookies and I melt them for drizzle over macaroons and PB cookies.

I have used Nestles baking chocolates for years. I wish I could tell you my favorite but I! I love and use all of them from the morsels to the baking bars!! I stock up every year after new years because by the time Jan 2nd gets here I have used all of them! The y are a staple for me!

There are so many ways to use Nestle chocolate chips. Of course, there's cookies but I like to add them to my brownie recipes, in pancakes, muffins, cupcakes and mixed in ice cream. The possibilities are endless!! I even eat them right out of the bag! Mmmm!!

My husband thinks buying generic chocolate chips is just as good as Toll House but there is definitely a big difference! Generic is just not as smooth or rich. When I get a craving for my chocolate coconut bars and have to use generic I am so disappointed and so is the rest of the family. Nowadays I make sure I am the one buying baking ingredients and always buy Nestle Toll House!
