[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I made a new recipe of Chocolate Chip cookies with the Nestle semi sweet chips and they turned out fantastic! They were a free sample! The chocolate tasted very rich and creamy with a great chocolate flavor. I usually use store brand chips, but I won't anymore!! I highly recommend trying NESTLE CHOCOLATE CHIPS!

Customers at my store are complaining the chips won't melt for their candy making efforts anymore as they did in past years. Have you made changes that reduce the cocoa butter percentage or altered your ingredients to favor retention of chip shape (as for chocolate chip cookies)?

Everyone likes to try new things, but when it comes down to it, the original Tollhouse cookies are the crowd favorite. At least at my house! I also love these chips for 7 layer bars. And I add them to banana bread. And to my butterscotch/chocolate chip cookies!

My family calls for cookies often and they always want chocolate chip. These are the perfect morsels for the very particular tastes of my family! They strike the most excellent balance between "hold their shape" and "gooey when they're fresh from the oven," so these are the ones I stock up on every time. Also, my kitchen always has a small canister of morsels off to the side for a little chocolate pick-me-up every now and then!

This is the at least the second year now that I am so frustrated when making my fudge, I pride myself on havind delicious, smooth and glossy fudge with the semi sweet morsels. At first I thought it was me. I changed burners, I have made it at two other houses, and it just won't melt properly any more. I guess I will have to look for another brand when making my fudge, which is sad since I love the flavor of yours as I have been embarrassed to take my fudge anywhere now. :(

I have never had an problems using Nestle Tollhouse chocolate chips. Excellent quality. I use chocolate, white chocolate and milk chocolate chips. My son really enjoys chocolate caramel chips. I highly recommend all of them. I even use them to make ganache.

We have used Nestles Toll House Semi-Sweet Morsels for decades, DECADES in my husband's fudge. He is known from one end of TX to the other for his fudge. If a batch isn't right, it goes in the trash. For the first time, last year, we had to deal with the centers of the morsels that wouldn't melt. We are not cooking them differently, the temp when they go in the mixture is not different. THE PRODUCT IS DIFFERENT. Are you outsourcing to CHINA? Paraguay? I had to go out and buy HERSHEY'S CHOCOLATE CHIPS. We don't want Hersheys, it changes the taste of my husband's fudge. We tried a single package of Nestles again months later and it melted as it always has. I just went out and bought many, many large bags of Nestles because my husband makes his fudge for lots of friends during the holidays and the Lillie Russell Memorial Library's annual Santa's Bake Shop cookie sale has requested his great fudge at their fundraiser for the last two years. Now, I have to go out and buy many, many bags of Hershey's so his fudge won't have tiny, unmelted lumps in it because those won't be allowed out of the house. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO THE NESTLE'S TOLL HOUSE SEMI-SWEET MORSELS?????

Over the years I've used every flavor morsel Nestle makes but my favorite is the semi-sweet chocolate. My family and friends always eagerly await my next baking session and I'm happy to oblige. My oven will be baking overtime this coming holiday season.

You can buy really good expensive chocolate chips for your baking and get great taste. You can buy good store brand chocolate chips and get a good tasting chip. But I choose to buy Nestle Toll House as they are as good as the expensive chips, and priced in line with the store brand. Plus, it's all my mom ever used and this tradition has been passed down to my own adult daughter. I'll not buy anything else. Nestle is my choice.

I am so very glad to Nestle Toll House makes great chocolate morsels that my entire family can enjoy. I'm especially glad that in the semi-sweet morsel ingredients "partially hydrogenated" ingredients are not used. As the Review title describes.......a little for the recipe and a lot for me to sample.........lol. This is my go to when I'm looking for chocolate chips.......a must have.
