We went through 2 bags of these, trying desperately to make a chocolate sauce. The instant they melted, they seized. We've tried a half dozen different approaches, from medium heat, to low, low heat on a double boiler where the bowl remained comfortable to touch. Every time, they seized into a lumpy, grainy mess. We are now trying a different brand, and will not go back to Nestle. Ever. They've managed to cheap out so hard on their products that they are no longer worthwhile. Lots of pastry chefs say to avoid this brand for good reason, it sucks.

I love using the recipe on the back when I make chocolate chip cookies. I have a friend who swears there is no way the chocolate chip cookies I make come from the back of a bag. Ha! My son and I also enjoy snacking on them from time to time in the evening.

Over the years I've used every flavor morsel Nestle makes but my favorite is the semi-sweet chocolate. My family and friends always eagerly await my next baking session and I'm happy to oblige. My oven will be baking overtime this coming holiday season.

The semi sweet chocolate chips are great tasting. The recipe always comes out just right. I would not choose any other chocolate chip company for my family. I have tried others and they come out hard. With Nestle Chocolate Chips they turn out perfect. I will always buy this brand.

I have now made fudge and chocolate cookies that have no chocolate taste at all thanks to the new creamier version of Nestle Toll House semi-sweet chips. Everything just tastes sweet. I'm sure the amount of cocoa in this product has been reduced. Great way to save money - - - no chocolate in the chocolate chips. Way to go Nestle.

I use your recipe for double Chocolate Brownies, and then fresh out of the oven. I Grab a cup of Chocolate chips and sprinkle them over the top allowing them to melt as the brownies cool. Finally Spreading the melted Chocolate over to top for a decedent mouth watering taste of full Chocolate experience

I love baking with Nestle semi-sweet chips. They hold their shape really well when making cookies and bars, or when adding them as a fun surprise in cupcakes. My only issue, is that they do not melt. Instead, these chips seem to seize, which is unfortunate, because I'm sure these would be wonderful for spreading atop some krispy treats!

These morsels are not too sweet and not to bitter, just right for complimenting a variety of desserts and meals calling for semi-sweet chips. I love how they melt, so ooey gooey with an explosion of flavor in each chip. Love love them!!!!! Not much to not love, about the only thing I can say is that the price keeps going up, but it is still not a deterrent to stop me from buying them. They are that good!! I use these in all my chocolate chip recipes, from cookies to peanut butter balls. These are my go-to chips for all things chocolate. Yum!!!!!!!

I know what Nestle is going to say but... I still have to disagree. The recipe is different, the bags are smaller. The toll house recipe is till my family's favorite and I will use it with different chips. They do not melt like chocolate or like they used to. They seem waxy and even taste different eaten alone. I only ever purchased morsels to melt for any recipe - but they don't melt so I'm switching to Hershey or Ghiradelli. Very sad.
