I use these chocolate chips in many different types of cookies and cakes. The deep chocolate flavor is yummy. They have the right amount of sweetness for a semi-sweet chip. They melt well for a chocolate glaze and also retain the chip shape in chocolate chip cookies.

I am a disabled senior and baking is difficult, but I am a chocolate addict. I use a chocolate cake mix, 1 cube of butter, one egg and 1-2 tablespoons of water. Hand mix completely and then add 1/2 cup of Tollhouse semi sweet chips and 1/2 cup chopped walnuts. They are delicious.

I am leaving this review after reading others who have said the same thing - the chocolate does not melt as smooth as it use to. I have been making this same cookie recipe for 25 years. I melt the semi-sweet morsels in a double-boiler and the texture is still clumpy. I am well-skilled in using this method and the product had definitely changed. I won't say my cookies are ruined, because with their texture, I can get away with it. I will look for an alternate product for future baking.

Nestle's morsels are a product that you can count on to perform! I never trust store brands when I am baking desserts.....who wants to put all that time and effort into baking to use subpar ingredients and end up with ho hum results. I want my grandchild to know what a real homemade tollhouse cookie should taste like! This Grammy knows what she can count on!!

I don't know what you have done to the recipe on the Nestle Toll House Chips, but they will not melt completely. They have ruined some of my holiday candy. I have bought Nestle Toll House Chips for years, but I will no longer use them. I have switched to Hershey's.

We were recently in Florida and had a craving for chocolate chip cookies. My sister and I went to the store and purchased the ingredients and went home and started baking. We baked a few cookies at a time so we could enjoy hot cookies straight from the oven. I enjoy using all the chips available. I bake Oatmeal Skotchies, Chocolate cookies with the white chips, Peanut Butter chips in white or chocolate cookies. I will use them all and try anything at least once.

Nestles Semi-sweet Morsels are a staple in my pantry. Of course Toll House chocolate chip cookies are a favorite of my husband and three sons. Whenever I want to add just a bit more chocolate to any of my recipes, I add a handful of Nestles Chocolate Morsels.

This makes the second time I've made a dish with these chocolate chips and both experiences I've been extremely sick! So sick I can't even think straight for the next 24 hours. I can eat ANY other chocolate, drink hot chocolate, But this one... something isn't right.

Purchased 4 bags to prepare favors for my daughter's birthday party. Little did I know that I would actually end up wasting 2 whole bags and just gave up on my sweet treat. The morsels didn't melt. They were chunky and crumbly. I even attempted to melt them in my small chocolate dipper adding a drop of oil, with hopes that it would melt .... that didn't happen . I'm usually one who uses only nestle, but I may have to change brands if this is what my end result will be. Money wasted, but the "sweet crumbs" sure did make the kids happy. Please check into this nestle.

My mother, bless her soul, taught me how to bake & she ALWAYS used Nestle Toll House morsels. I have adapted her Toll House cookie recipe to be a bit healthier (ground flax seed & some whole wheat flour). Love the semi-sweet, adore the dark & bittersweet varieties. I'm addicted to Nestle's morsels :-)
