Very Dissapointing

Have been using these chips for more than 55 years and for some reason they will not melt anymore!! They may be fine in choc. chip cookies, but if you need to melt them to spread over a cookie or cake they just glop up. Ruined a dessert I was making for a dinner party last night, not to mention I purchased three 12 oz. pkgs and now am out the money. I have absolutely no confidence in these chips anymore and will have to find another product. Considering all the other comments I am reading Nestle's is going to have to do a lot of convincing before many of us will use this product again!

From your description, it sounds like your chocolate has seized. This can happen if the chocolate has been scorched or by small amounts of moisture. We hope this helps!,Consumer Engagement Center,Michael, clientresponse

good product

this is a good product but the cost is to expensive. I only purchase when on sale. I love to ues on rice krispies treats. I spread them out on top of a tray of treats and place in a 300 degree oven for about 3 to 5 minutes to soften them. Take out of oven and spread the softend chocolate chips all over the top of the treats. Place in refrigerator to cool. When cool I cut the treats. YUM

Too expensive

I am using the less expensive brands. I was at Walmart this week and they want almost $10.00 for the largest bag of your chocolate chips. I can no longer afford you folks! I joined about 20 years ago. I thought this website would give me coupons occasionally. I have lost interest in your emails. Shame on you folks.........

Big Fan

I am a big fan of Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels. I used the sample that I received to make Nestle Toll House Famous Fudge. The morsels melted easily. The fudge was creamy with just enough chocolate. I definitely would recommend this product to friends and family.

Highly disappointed

I just bought your semi-sweet chocolate morsels. Luckily I tasted them before using them. They have a taste of cocoanut. I am so disappointed with them. I use to be confident that the Nestle brand would taste of pure, unadulterated chocolate. Always check the ingredients!! No good use for these.

Our morsels shouldn't have a coconut flavor so we'd like to learn more. Expect an email from us soon! ,Toll House® Brand Ambassador,Teresa, clientresponse

Great Quality!

I was raised on Nestle products and have continued to use them in my household to this day. I love the Nestle chocolate chips, specifically the 62% bittersweet...I am partial to dark chocolate which is not as sweet. I use them in baking, chocolate sauces, and mostly I just like to eat the chips out of a jar as a snack (all day long!). I always keep a good supply of chips in my house. I pretty much panic when I run low! I have purchased other brands, but always come back to Nestle. I would even love a 72% dark chip. Overall, a very good product.

Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels Make Baking Great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] #Ad. #Freesample. My family loves it when I bake for them. I received a bag of Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels to bake, test and report! I made a batch of Nestle Toll House Cookies for my family. They were barely out of the oven before they were gobbled up. The bag was plenty big enough for me to bake with enough left for snacking!

The Only Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels I Use!

I have always used the Nestle Brand of semi-sweet chocolate morsels. Regardless of the recipe. Using the word NESTLE when purchasing semi-sweet morsels is just like saying I need to purchase KLEENEX at the store! Your product is always fresh, delicious, and the price point is always fair. Just sent my niece a recipe I found for a Chocolate Bar Pie. The recipe calls for use of semi-sweet morsels; and of course, in translating, I naturally wrote NESTLE SEMI-SWEET CHOCOLATE MORSELS!

Morsels are top of the line

I know the recipe by heart and make it often for gifts, occasions, etc. I choose to melt the butter, cook the cookies for 8 min. at 375 degrees, and they come out so chewy, which we prefer. I've used other morsels, and they don't have the same texture and taste.
