Quality Product With Excellent Flavor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet Morsels bring me right back to my childhood, evoking memories of the warm and gooey cookies that my mom used to make. When given the opportunity to receive a free sample of the morsels to use in a recipe, I jumped at the chance to try something new and different. I chose to make a Chocolate Chip Coffee Cake, knowing that the rich flavor of the semi-sweet morsels would match well with the sour cream based coffee cake. The hint of cinnamon in the crumb topping balanced perfectly with the chocolate. The best thing about using Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet Morsels was the quality of the product. Each bite was what one might expect from Nestle - delicious and creamy. The morsels in the coffee cake itself were gooey and perfectly melted. I would highly recommend reaching for Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet Morsels for this recipe or for your own personal favorite. I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. My opinion was entirely my own. #ad #freesample

chips no longer melt... why?

I've made a cake with melted milk chocolate as the top layer for years. I made it the other day and the chips would not melt. I've never had this problem before so I went online to see if others were having the same problem. Apparently I am not the only one. I am so diappoiinted that this product has been changed. My go to was Nestle. I will have to choose something else at this point.

The classic is still the best!

I have been baking with Nestle Toll House morsels for 40 years. I have tried more expensive chocolate chips, but none are worth the extra money. I have also tried cheaper options and they are not good enough. Nestle Toll House morsels deliver every time!

Only Nestles for my Xmas candy!

For 35 years I've made almond toffee with Nestles semi sweet chocolate chips melted on top as Christmas treats for family and friends. I stir lots of love into this candy, and I always count on Nestles to complete my special gift to the people I love!!

Best Chocolate Chips

I love Nestle Milk Chocolate Chips the best. I make the original Toll House cookies, of course, and have been baking for years. I also incorporate the morsels in other recipes. I like to keep bags of them, or at least one bag, on hand all the time for when the urge hits me to bake some cookies.

Only Chips to use

I make lots of chocolate chip cookies and your semi-sweet chocolate morsels are the only ones I use and they have never failed me. I don't sell my cookies but have been requested to make them for team meeting, birthdays and graduation parties. Thanks for making such a great product.

not same ingredients as old Nestle

Tried melting full bag of butterscotch bits and 1/2 bag chocolate semi-sweet like I do every year making Special K bars. I used a double boiler like always and it dried out into a big dry lump. Tried again in batches in microwave and was successful. Microwave is much more intense heat so should give warning to old bakers that they need to use the modern appliances. The old required method does not work anymore. Very disappointed I wasted so much.

Best Tasting Chips Available!

These are high quality chocolate chips that I've loved forever! There are no other chips on the market that compare to these! Love baking with them every holiday season and throughout the year. I've tried others in the past but wouldn't use anything else.

Reminds me of growing up

The only chocolate chip to use for original chocolate chip cookies. My mom made this all the time growing up. Now I make them for family and friends. My recipe is slight different,I think it was the original one. Never use butter only sold Crisco with two tablespoons of water. Always undercook slightly so they don't burn. Take out of oven slightly brown. Leave on cookie sheet for 1 minute then put on wax paper to cool. The best.
