When given the opportunity to receive a free sample of the morsels to use in a recipe, I jumped at the chance to try something new and different. I chose to make a Chocolate Chip Coffee Cake, knowing that the rich flavor of the semi-sweet morsels would match well with the sour cream based coffee cake. The hint of cinnamon in the crumb topping balanced perfectly with the chocolate. The best thing about using Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet Morsels was the quality of the product. Each bite was what one might expect from Nestle - delicious and creamy. The morsels in the coffee cake itself were gooey and perfectly melted. How could anyone not love toll house chocolate chips? They are simply the best they are the best! These chips have just the right amount of sweetness they aren't to sweet they are simply satisfying. I love them And highly recommended them not only for cookies but for other recipes. Chocolate chip pancakes are delish and when you add toll house you simply go back to your childhood and say what's calories.

My mother and myself have baked with Nestle Semi-Sweet chocolate chips for longer than I can remember and I also eat them daily by themselves because I love them so much and they're my favorite "candy". However, the most recent bag we purchased (which is this new look large bag) 100% tastes different which aligns with other comments about them not melting as well as in the past. After thoroughly comparing the two bags, the only difference I could find is the new bag now says "Includes 8g Added Sugars" under "Sugars" which was previously not there. Is Nestle using a different type of sugar? This is extremely disappointing to me because I do not like the taste nearly as much anymore. It's a sad day :-(

Nestle chocolate chips and products have been a staple in my house. I love baking whether it's pancakes with mini chocolate chips, sour cream chocolate frosting made with semi sweet chocolate chips and oatmeal cookies with dark chocolate chips. You will always find my pantry stocked with Nestle chocolate chips and are good to eat right out of the bag.

I made the recipe from the bag. I did not use nuts & should have added a little more flour. So they flattened more than expected. Yet,still as tasty as anticipated. These are the best chocolate chips around. I will definitely buy them again and I highly recommend them. I received this product for free to review. All opinions are my own.

I was originally trying to find out why the chip packages have gone from 12to 12.5, and now to 10 oz. After reading so many reviews about the taste, etc., I have decided to return all 12 bags of chips before I ruin all of my fudge. I haven't bought them for over 2 years so the size was s real surprise, but workable. The bad flavor reviews are a no go for me. I'd rather spend more for my already expensive fudge.

I have been making Christmas Cracker Candy for my son for 20 some years. I have NEVER had a failure. The morsels wouldn't melt properly, in order to spread the chocolate. It was nothing but a grainy mess! Nestle, YOU HAVE CHANGED THE RECIPE! Stop lying to the public, you cheapened or changed the ingredients

I have preferentially used Nestles chips for years, so much so that I have currently been buying them in the 36 oz bags, since I use one or more of these large bags per batch of cookies/brownies/etc. [example code: BEST BY END APR2019 70915748 1 1 09:49]. Over the past couple of months, I have found (like others recently writing reviews here) that the chips do not melt as they previously did and that they have a different taste. The taste and eating sensation seem to have changed to be more like the flavorless, bitter survival chocolate bars than the creamy, easily melting chocolate present up to last Nov? Dec? I'm unsure whether this reflects the quality (or type?) of chocolate going into the product or something about its manufacture. Until it reverts, I'll be auditioning new chips for a replacement.
