My family has used Nestle chocolate chips for years. I remember my mom baking chocolate chip cookies using Nestle. Now I have passed the tradition along to my children. I love that you can use them in many recipes or just grab a handful out of the bag when you need that chocolate pick-me-up!

I always pop a few of the semi-sweet morsels in my mouth prior to baking...glad I did. Chocolate does not have the same deep flavor that a Toll House cookie is known for. Tastes almost artificial. Another formula change issue??? I've been baking for years and am so tired of these companies reducing the formula, creating an imposter so they can line their pockets. So tired of this. Nestle, you have lost another customer.

I have picky eaters no let's use the worse finicky - seriously I cannot use even generic products! I make chocolate chip cookies probably twice a month and honestly the only chips I can use are Toll House they love the flavor the gooey melt and texture! Only chips in my house!!

Nestles Toll House Chips were the only chips I bought. I used them in brownies, cookies, and melted them for cakes and ganache. In the past few years, they no longer melt smoothly and have become much sweeter, too sweet for most recipes. I tried to keep using them for cookies where their melting was not an issue, but they were too sweet and did not give the same mouth feel as they used to give. I was so disappointed, but I've found other brands that work fine.

I'm so disappointed. Bought a 4 lb bag of semi-sweet to make Christmas cookies as a family event with a dear friend who traveled from out of state to spend Christmas with us. Cookies have a dry taste to them. Never experienced this issue before. We are now switching to homemade sugar cookies. Nestle, please return to your old ingredients for your morsels!

Delicious! Easy to make! I made the traditional recipe on the back of the bag and did NOT add nuts. The recommendation was that if you omitted the nuts, to add a little more flour! Maybe I added a little TOO much flour? My cookies are thick and like cake. I like it! Not just for the holidays! Make everyday cookie day!

I have used the same fudge recipe since the 1980s and have never ruined it. It always turns out nice and smooth and creamy. Everybody loves it and requests it. This year, I ruined 3 batches, thinking I was somehow doing something wrong, so sadly I kept trying again. The chocolate was not melting right and it was super grainy. My son dubbed it "sandcastle fudge." It was horrible. I will never use Nestle again. I always use pure cane sugar too, not beet. Nestle, are you now using beet sugar in your chocolate? Beet is not good for candy making. Husband just went to the store for a different brand of chocolate and we are hopeful it will turn out this time.

I was raised on Nestle products and have continued to use them in my household to this day. I love the Nestle chocolate chips, specifically the 62% bittersweet...I am partial to dark chocolate which is not as sweet. I use them in baking, chocolate sauces, and mostly I just like to eat the chips out of a jar as a snack (all day long!). I always keep a good supply of chips in my house. I pretty much panic when I run low! I have purchased other brands, but always come back to Nestle. I would even love a 72% dark chip. Overall, a very good product.

I have used Nestle Tool House Chocolate Chips since I was a little girl learning to bake. They make the best Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips. I use them in my Cowboy Cookies, Chocolate Chip Cookies and when I need melted Chocolate for dipping. I have tried other brands, but always come back to Nestle.

When we want the taste of traditional chocolate chip cookies, nobody can beat the taste of Nestle semi-sweet baking chips! I don't know what it is about their chips that makes them different, but the other brands just never taste as good as Nestle. We also love to use the mini-chips in our pumpkin and banana breads.
