I am not happy with my recent purchase of Nestle morsels. The standard 12 oz bag has now been reduced to 10 oz. I am sure this is a stragetic attempt to make a profit with the consumer being none the wiser until after the purchase and back home. I would rather see an increase in price than a reduction of product since all our favorite recipes call for 12 oz.

I've been baking { and eating} chocolate chip cookies for years. nestle was always the best. But... now...nestle chips have changed. and not just a little. they don't taste like chocolate anymore, just sweet, and they don't melt the same way. its enough of a change that the original tollhouse recipe just doesn't work. the flavor is off. and the texture. sorry bakers, if you want to make the tollhouse cookies you remember your mom making, you'll need to try another chocolate chip. and nestle, please explain? any suggestions for making good cookies again?

This is the time to start purchasing all the ingredients for fudge making. It wouldn't be the holidays without it. My mother started the tradition in the 50's. She passed the torch to me in the 70's. I passed it to my daughter inthe 90's. Our recipes have used the preceding generations recipes with a few ingredient changes. But one ingredient has NEVER changed-it is our "secret" ingredient. NESTLIE Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels is the only chocolate used in our fudge recipes. I'm writing my ingredient list. Guess what's at top of the list?

I made a giant cookie cake for my daughters 14th birthday. We used to be able to buy these in the mall but it's been gone a long time so I was so happy to find this recipe. The Toll House semi-sweet chocolate morsels are a perfect addition to this giant cookie. There is no downside!

Chocolate melted nicely, was not too sweet, and did not separate when melted. Would definitely use again.

I've tried store brand chocolate morsels and other name-brand morsels. I always come back to Nestlé. The flavor is exactly what I'm looking for, and they never fall to preform. Quality control is terrific at Nestlé, apparently, because they're always fresh, always perfect.

When my Mom first introduced me to baking as a child, letting me help her make chocolate chip cookies, she only used Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Mosels. Now whether I'm making a chocolate cheesecake or peanut butter buckeyes, I still use Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet Morsels. They still have the great flavor that I remember from my childhood and it's the only chocolate chip that I will use when baking for my family or friends. It always has the same great quality and delicious flavor. When heated, the chocolate melts evenly because there are no "fillers," just great ingredients. While the new flavors of chocolate chips are great, the Semi-Sweet Morsels still have the best flavor for the recipes I make and I would recommend them to anyone who is trying a recipe that calls for chocolate morsels.

Melt ¾ cup of chips and ½ tsp shortening in the microwave or over a pot of simmering water. Stir until smooth. Dip strawberries, graham crackers, or apple or pear slices in the mixture. I used the semi sweet chips in cookies. The chips stay soft and I love the slight bitterness as compared to a milk chocolate chip. Great meltability. Use alongside pretzel pieces in cookies for that great salty/sweet combination. I received compensation for my review.
