Great Chocolate Chips.

Purchased to use for baking cookies, but have almost eaten the second bag as eating with pecan halfs. I may get around to baking chocolate chip cookies.

Too expensive

These were my favorite for home baking but they are so expensive now. Not worth the price.

You can't do better than the classic!

I love Nestle Tollhouse Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels! They are so, so versatile. Tonight, I created a new recipe for chocolate chip blondies, and these were my go-to- not too sweet (as the batter was already sweet enough!), with that rich chocolate taste that balances with the browned butter and the smooth vanilla. When you need chocolate, but not more sweetness, in your recipe, this is simply the BEST chocolate chip! These are also great for Muddy Buddies, making ganache...you name it! Wonderful chips, I definitely recommend 'em. I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own.

Terribly frustrating and I'm very upset!!

What gives? I've used Nestle chocolate chips for years and never had this problem before! I made a pan of toffee bars (shortbread base and then melted chocolate chip topping, sprinkled with nuts). Bake the base, then sprinkle evenly w/ the chips, back in the oven to melt the chips for 3 min., take out and smooth the supposedly melted chips into a smooth frosting and top w/ nuts. Simple, right? Definitely not this time!! I've ended up w/ unmelted chip blobs, a now overbaked base because I had it back in the oven for a total of 7 min. in an attempt to melt them and wouldn't you know these were to be for my nieces's bridal shower!! And I do not have the ingredients nor the time to bake another pan of toffee bars--GRRRR!!! Nestle's chocolate ch...

    3-chip cookie

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this product in a cookie that included 3 types of Nestle chips...semi-sweet, butterscotch, and white chips. I called it my 3-chip cookie. It was delicious. There were chips everywhere I bit. Highly recommend adding new chip flavors to your traditional cookie bakes. I received a free sample of these chips. The opinions are mine. #freesample

    Semi sweet goodness

I just recieved my free Nestle Toll Semi-Sweet chocolate morsels and I couldn't be happier. The morsels are delicious and melt so easily. They are the perfect addition to cookies or any other dessert you can think of. I wouldn't use any other brand than Nestle to satisfy my sweet tooth. #ad I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own.

    My favorite!

The last timer that I made chocolate chip cookies, I used Nestlé Toll House Milk Chocolate Morsels. They were perfect!! I don't like bitter flavors, & they really MADE the cookies!! I will ALWAYS use them from now on (for all chocolate chip recipes)!!

Starting my search for a new go-to chocolate for baking

I bake thousands of cookies every year and always relied on Nestle semi-sweet chips for my chocolate needs. In recent years I have had failure after failure on recipes I've been baking for decades. The chips just don't melt the way they used to. This year was a record 10 pounds of chocolate ruined despite constant temperature testing and humidity monitoring. I had better luck buying couverture chocolate and tempering it than following age-old recipes calling for chips. Whatever you changed, please change it back.

    Chips won't melt

My family and I have been using Nestle semi sweet chocolate chips to make fudge for over 50 years. Now the chips won't melt completely and the fudge tastes bland. I've made two different batches and bought the chips at two different stores. You have lost a long time customer.

Semi-Sweet is such a decadent Treat!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love to make semi-sweet fruit and nut bark as a "healthy" treat. I love how easily and smoothly Nestle's semi-sweet chips melt to make this bark. It gives the dessert such a rich flavor. Everyone in my family loves this bark. I also love to bake chocolate chip cookies with browned butter in place of regular butter. The flavor is out of this world paired with semi-sweet chocolate chips and the nuttiness of the browned butter.

Better than I remember - affordable option.

I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own. I make cookie dough for my elderly parents often. I used a bag of the semi-sweet and a bag of the milk chocolate to make a batch of cowboy cookies (oatmeal chocolate chip). I usually splurge on ghiradelli, but these were WAY better than I remember and plan on using them again in the future - they were delicious!

Reach for Nestle to achieve top chocolate taste!

When you want to achieve the ultimate decadence in your chocolate treats you want to reach for Nestle baking morsels. Semi-sweet gives you the chocolate taste you want without the overly sweet taste. They melt easily for dipping yet maintain their shape in baking. Unlike lesser chocolate morsels than can melt into your product and disappear. Nestle Semi-sweet chocolate chips are a staple in our pantry! Great for everything from dipping Strawberries to mixing up a quick Mug Cake. We love the rich taste and superior quality!

    you have gone chemical cheap

What is going on with Nestles. My chocolate chip cookies are just tastless junk. They don't melt like they used to, they don't smell like chocolate and they certainly are not the chocolate chips or chocolate chip cookies the last several tries. I have stopped making those expensive cookies because they are now chemical cookies.

    These Are Classic

These semi-sweet chocolate morsels are the ones my mother and grandmother used for Tollhouse Cookies when I was a kid. I look forward to making some for my granddaughter. I received this product free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own.

    Meminda's Magic Cookies

I take the basic original recipe and doctor it up. I only use a 1/4 of cup of both sugars and add chopped up pieces of candy plus the chocolate chips, and I add butterscotch and white chocolate chips as well. Then add this all to the flour mix by folding in all the candy and chips and bake for 8-10 minutes. Cool on a rack .

    NESTLES CHOCOLATE MORSELS

I bake all the time for family and friends and ONLY use NESTLES chocolate morsels. My husband and 3 sons especially enjoy the "LIMITED EDITION" holiday varieties that you have every year. I stock up as soon as I see them in the store. Can't wait to see the varieties you have this year! Thank you NESTLES......have a wonderful holiday season!

    Classic

Nestle semi sweet chips are the key ingredient to making the best cookies. I have tried other brands and they just don't taste the same if you don't use the Nestle. All the bakers in my family have used them for generations to make the good old classic chocolate chip cookie. Some things should never change.

    So disappointed

Just finished making peanut butter crispier bars with chocolate butterscotch topping. My youngest son's favorites for more than 20 years! For the first time the chocolate chips didn't melt!!! I can't believe it I've made these every Christmas. Sooo disappointed. Going to switch to Hershey's next year!

    chips no longer melt... why?

I've made a cake with melted milk chocolate as the top layer for years. I made it the other day and the chips would not melt. I've never had this problem before so I went online to see if others were having the same problem. Apparently I am not the only one. I am so diappoiinted that this product has been changed. My go to was Nestle. I will have to choose something else at this point.

Your chocolate chips are not the same!!!

I have been so disappointed in the last 2 bags of chocolate chips I purchased that I began searching the internet to find out if you changed your formula. You keep replying to others' comments that you haven't changed your recipe but it is CLEAR to all of us that something has changed. I sincerely hope you will change it back. The new chips are terrible. Little taste. Not smooth and flavorful. More like eating plastic. I won't buy these anymore.

No kitchen should be without them :-)

I used the morsels in the classic Toll House cookie recipe. The cookies came out perfect and what I love most about the morsels, is the taste. They have just the right amount of sweetness and the consistency also after the cookie is baked, made the final result yummy and totally addictive.
