Great Chocolate Chips.

Purchased to use for baking cookies, but have almost eaten the second bag as eating with pecan halfs. I may get around to baking chocolate chip cookies.

Too expensive

These were my favorite for home baking but they are so expensive now. Not worth the price.

    There is no suitable substitute!

I have tried many different varieties of morsels and other items; whether I am decorating Christmas cookies with the grandkids or just making cookies, fudge, cakes: there is nothing compared to the quality of nestle!! I couldn't n wouldn't bake without it!!

    Chocolatey Goodness!

I always use Nestle chocolate chips in my baking and snacking. Their consistent smooth and rich flavor makes everything just a little better. My children are grown now, but warm chocolate chip cookies will always be their favorite no matter what age they get.

    My favorite

I used the semi sweet chips in cookies. The chips stay soft and I love the slight bitterness as compared to a milk chocolate chip. Great meltability. Use alongside pretzel pieces in cookies for that great salty/sweet combination. I received compensation for my review.

    No mistakes, just happy accidents!

Delicious! Easy to make! I made the traditional recipe on the back of the bag and did NOT add nuts. The recommendation was that if you omitted the nuts, to add a little more flour! Maybe I added a little TOO much flour? My cookies are thick and like cake. I like it! Not just for the holidays! Make everyday cookie day!

Disappointed - Unmelted chunks in my fudge

So disappointed that semi-sweet morsels have changed and no longer melt when stirred into the boiling hot fudge mixture. In addition to ruining the chocolate batch, I accidentally purchased the peanut butter/chocolate blend for the peanut butter batch. Although the peanut butter chips melted, the chocolate ones never totally melted and left chunks of chocolate in the peanut butter. I will definitely purchase another brand next time!!

    Semi sweet chocolate chips

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own. I baked peanut butter chocolate chip cookies and cranberry bread with the semi sweet chocolate chips and they were a great addition to both recipes.

    Classic Chocolate Choice!

Can't go wrong with the semi-sweet! I always have this on hand to make chocolate chip cookies, add to brownies, or for pancakes. Just to nane a few. To note: I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own. #freesample

    Delicious and easy

I make tons of dozens of these every holiday because they are so darn good. Plus, I make them for my staff, mail lady, sanitation guys, water guy....you get the point. I bake them on a pan that I don't ever use for anything else, bake them at 375, but I only bake them for 7 to 8 minutes. I package them asap to keep them soft.

    Meminda's Magic Cookies

I take the basic original recipe and doctor it up. I only use a 1/4 of cup of both sugars and add chopped up pieces of candy plus the chocolate chips, and I add butterscotch and white chocolate chips as well. Then add this all to the flour mix by folding in all the candy and chips and bake for 8-10 minutes. Cool on a rack .

I had purchased this product in the past, but...

I now prefer to purchase Nestle Toll House Organic Allergen Free Semi-Sweet Morsels as my family has had allergic reactions to this product in the past Allergen Free Morsels Organic Morsels that are free from the 8 major food allergens: Peanuts, Tree Nuts, Egg, Milk, Soy, Wheat, Fish and Shellfish.

    Best morsels for cookies!!

I will buy no name morsels if I am making cookies for an unimportant event. BUT if it is for my family and friends the only chocolate chip I will use is Nestle!! They taste the best they melt perfectly, and there IS a noticeable difference in taste!! No question Nestle is the very best!

    Gotta have the best!

My husband thinks buying generic chocolate chips is just as good as Toll House but there is definitely a big difference! Generic is just not as smooth or rich. When I get a craving for my chocolate coconut bars and have to use generic I am so disappointed and so is the rest of the family. Nowadays I make sure I am the one buying baking ingredients and always buy Nestle Toll House!

    Best for Buckeyes!

Nestle Toll House chocolate chips are the best for melting down to make Buckeyes. They allow the perfect amount of chocolate coating around the delicious peanut butter inside, not too thick and not too thin. I just picked up a large bag from a wholesale retailer to make a batch for the holidays and can't wait!

Toll House - what's not to love?

I made a giant cookie cake for my daughters 14th birthday. We used to be able to buy these in the mall but it's been gone a long time so I was so happy to find this recipe. The Toll House semi-sweet chocolate morsels are a perfect addition to this giant cookie. There is no downside!

    Good Chips

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product review of Nestle Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips 24 oz bag I received this product for free for the purpose of this review. All opinions are my own I used these chips to make classic chocolate chip cookies and chocolate chip brownies. Both turned out well. I love the convenience and versatility of the larger bag.

Flavor of chocolate chips is definitely different

All my life I have baked with Nestle's chocolate chips and Nestle's alone. My brothers and I would eat them straight out of the bag on many occasions, much to my mother's dismay. Now when I do this, one taste is enough. They remind me of the fake, solid chocolate Easter eggs wrapped in colored foil that would be bought because they were cheap, but no one would eat them. I guess I'll have to find a new chocolate chip to bake with!

    Simply the BEST!!

There is no other chocolate chip comparable to this one especially when baking the toll house cookies recipe on the package. When I was a little girl I walked a even smaller little girl to school , her Moma baked them every day for us when we got home. I have loved them all my life. You can try the cookie with another chip but you will not get the same taste I promise. I baked some for Halloween and we used orange icing to draw pumpkin faces on the cookies for the kids on our street that hang out all the time here and next door with the kids.

    I'm not sure what changed

I had a bag of the old semi sweet chunks next to a bag of the new semi sweet chips and the old ones taste richer and smoother than the new ones. The package says same taste but that is DEFINITELY NOT the case. The new version is gross, practically inedible. I will not be purchasing these anymore.

Classic chocolate chips for yummy cookies!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used nestle semi sweet chocolate chips in chocolate chip cookies I made recently. I love the taste and "melty" texture. 4 stars because I do think some of the higher end chocolate chips taste a little better but for price and value and taste these are a win! My family loved the cookies!
