Great Chocolate Chips.

Purchased to use for baking cookies, but have almost eaten the second bag as eating with pecan halfs. I may get around to baking chocolate chip cookies.

Too expensive

These were my favorite for home baking but they are so expensive now. Not worth the price.

    Yes, the taste has changed!

I also have been eating Nestles Toll House semi-sweet morsels all my life. My mom liked to bake chocolate chip cookies using the recipe on the bag. As an adult, I continued baking with Toll House semi-sweet morsels. Always tasted the same. After my husband died, I stopped baking for a long time, but I started again this March to cheer myself up. But oh now, the flavor is not like the old taste at all! I'm glad I looked online and saw that others think the same. It's not just me!

    The chocolate has changed!

For a long time, I've taken a little handful of Nestle chocolate morsels when I needed a taste of chocolate... but it no longer hits the same. There is no joy in eating them. I'm so glad to hear the other comments, to know I'm not going crazy. Nestle keeps saying "the recipe hasn't changed"... but one of the ingredients is simply "chocolate"... and the CHOCOLATE has changed. Same recipe, different taste. Might have something to do with recent changes to the rules governing chocolate. In any event, I don't see any point in buying these again.

    Ruined my fudge !

I made fudge following last year's successful recipe. As others have mentioned here, this year the Nestle morsels don't seem to melt completely. When adding the morsels, the mixture turned grainy and the chips were very difficult to melt & incorporate. The resulting fudge is very sugary with a poor texture. This was a rather expensive "experiment" and produced a poor product.

    A sweet welcome

I have quite a few family and friends that visit during the holidays and they say what they enjoy most is smelling my chocolate chip cookies, brownies or muffins baking. I use Nestle Toll House semi-sweet chocolate morsels because they have the right combination to suit any chocolatey recipe. My husband sounds off that they get a thumbs up and my baked goods are a "sweet welcome" to all of my friends and family!

    Best Morsels Ever!

Over the years I've used every flavor morsel Nestle makes but my favorite is the semi-sweet chocolate. My family and friends always eagerly await my next baking session and I'm happy to oblige. My oven will be baking overtime this coming holiday season.

Great quality at a great price

Nestlé Toll House Semi-sweet Chocolate Morsels! You can pay more than $2 each for delicious chocolate-dipped strawberries, or make them yourself just how you like them. Melt ¾ cup of chips and ½ tsp shortening in the microwave or over a pot of simmering water. Stir until smooth. Dip strawberries, graham crackers, or apple or pear slices in the mixture. Let set in the refrigerator. So easy! I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own.

The taste and quality can't be beat. I need to make more because they disappeared so quickly, everyone loved them! #ad I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. Flavor has change! Tastes awful! NOT happy!!

Nestle - I do not believe you are being truthful about the Toll House simi-sweet chocolate chips recipe. My family has been baking chocolate chip cookies with your morsels for 3 generations, beginning with my grandmother. I personally have been baking the chocolate chip cookies for 40 years, and I can honestly say that something has definitely changed. They TASTE completely different!! In addition to baking the cookies, I would also frequently eat the morsels straight out of the bag whenever I wanted a quick sweet treat. I always kept a bag in the cupboard for occasional snacking. The new taste is awful!! It almost tastes as if the have a Stevia sweetener in them. Whatever has happened, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE reverse it. Your brand has a fo...

    Delicious

I love the strong chocolate taste without overpowering sweetness.I made the chocolate chip cookies after the recipe on the package.Don't have a round tablespoon and got bigger cookies but they were easy to make and turned out good.I love that there are a lot morsels in the cookies.I also use much less sugar than the recipe is saying because I like it less sweet.Would make them again.

    good product

this is a good product but the cost is to expensive. I only purchase when on sale. I love to ues on rice krispies treats. I spread them out on top of a tray of treats and place in a 300 degree oven for about 3 to 5 minutes to soften them. Take out of oven and spread the softend chocolate chips all over the top of the treats. Place in refrigerator to cool. When cool I cut the treats. YUM

    Chips won't melt!

I've used Nestle chips all my life! Now the last 4 bags I've tried to use the chips will not melt and are grainy! It's horrible. I've wasted so much time and money. All my Christmas baking that had these in the recipe had to be thrown out . Something has changed with the cocoa butter. I have never in my life had issues with these. So upset.

Always can count on the quality.

I've been using Nestle Toll House chocolate morsels since I can remember baking with my mother as a little girl. They are easy to use, quality is always excellent and they never disappoint whether you use them in cookies or many other chocolate delights.

As delicious as they are versitile.

There isn't a rime that I have used Nestle's Semi-Sweet that I have not received raves. The secret: Don't be afraid, try it in different recipes. I've strewn it across the top of icing on cakes and cupcakes. Throw it inside oatmeal cookies. Add it inside brownies just before you put them in the oven. There is no limit! Have fun, be crearive, be daring, but don't ever be without Nestles Semi-Sweet or Chuncky Chips in your baking cabinet!

    Won't melt since 2016

Had to change my recipe and went to gharadelli chips. Don't waste your money on these. They added cellulose or something to keep them from melting. Won't admit it to us as I have called. Put the glob in the bag and return to store. Let them eat that junk choc. 50 year old recipe, no changes tomy recipe.

    My mistake....

I wrote a review about some nestle dark chocolate chips my husband picked up for me and couldn't understand why the morsels were slightly smaller and the taste had diminished. He brought home the allergy free chips from Nestle! I hadn't scrutinized the bag as carefully as I should have. I believe that any review you've gotten recently was for a mid-purchased bags of the allergy free morsels that should be good enough for anyone who struggles with food allergies. I regret sounding off and want to apologize. I swear by the dark chocolate chips and honestly, wouldn't bake without them or be without a bag on my shelf for a quick scoop to satisfy a sweet tooth. To quote Farfal their spokesdog "Nestle makes the very best chocolate."

Better than I remember - affordable option.

I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own. I make cookie dough for my elderly parents often. I used a bag of the semi-sweet and a bag of the milk chocolate to make a batch of cowboy cookies (oatmeal chocolate chip). I usually splurge on ghiradelli, but these were WAY better than I remember and plan on using them again in the future - they were delicious!

    Chocolately Goodness

I use these in my made from scratch, chocolate chip cookies. Oh my they are amazing, and the family completely eats every one of them, not one remaining. I also use these when making Holiday Yummies, such as Fudge, cookie bars, chocolate drizzle on baked goods, etc.
