- 5 out of 5 stars review11/1/2017I have to be honest and say I've tried using other brands of chocolate chips - and always come back to Toll House. They're always the best quality and best tasting. I use them in cookies, of course, but I have also used them in breads. They make a sweet - and yet not always terribly sweet - addition.
The best of the best!
Deedee55Originally posted onverybestbaking.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/13/2024**I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own.** Nestle Toll House semi sweet chocolate chips are delicious in cookies, brownies, or on their own as a quick snack. I made cookies last night using Nestle Toll House semi sweet chocolate chips and they were rich and perfectly sweet with just the right amount of chocolate (for me) in each bite.
Great In Many Sweet Treats
JustGGOriginally posted onverybestbaking.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/1/2017Our family is full of bakers, from my 10 year old daughter all the way to my great grandma (although not as much, but she has taught us a lot!). We have tried all manner of brands throughout the year, and none of them can even compare to Nestle Toll House Semi- Sweet Chocolate Morsels especially in Grandma's Fudge!!
Couldn't live without Nestle!
bpontoOriginally posted onverybestbaking.com - 1 out of 5 stars review4/30/2016I have been using Nestle's chocolate chips to make desserts and especially to make chocolate sauce for ice cream and dipping sauce for strawberries for many, many years. The current chips absolutely DO NOT work anymore. What have you done to them??? I had to add at least 1/2c of oil to the dipping sauce to get it smooth and loose enough to stick a strawberry into it. Gads! What a mess. I'll never use them again..
Soooo disappointed!!!

We'd like to collect more details about your experience with our Semi Sweet morse... - 1 out of 5 stars review5/5/2016All my life I have baked with Nestle's chocolate chips and Nestle's alone. My brothers and I would eat them straight out of the bag on many occasions, much to my mother's dismay. Now when I do this, one taste is enough. They remind me of the fake, solid chocolate Easter eggs wrapped in colored foil that would be bought because they were cheap, but no one would eat them. I guess I'll have to find a new chocolate chip to bake with!
Flavor of chocolate chips is definitely different
TyconmomOriginally posted onverybestbaking.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/1/2017I love using Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels. I like mixing the regular morsels and mini morsels when making cookies. I also use them when I melt down and make chocolate pizza's. So easy to do my daughter used to make them as teacher gifts at Christmas.
There's nothing better
JaZeeOriginally posted onverybestbaking.com - 5 out of 5 stars review5/5/2020Besides my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe, you never have to wonder if you are getting the best product here. My boys love pancakes, but recently we discovered breakfast is made better with NESTLÉ, as I add a few chocolate chips to my favorite pancake recipe before I flip the flapjack. (((INSERT THUMBSUP HERE, EMOJIS NOT ALLOWED))) Thank you NESTLÉ

SunshinelollipopgeigerOriginally posted onverybestbaking.com - 5 out of 5 stars review10/31/2017I always use Nestle chocolate chips in my baking and snacking. Their consistent smooth and rich flavor makes everything just a little better. My children are grown now, but warm chocolate chip cookies will always be their favorite no matter what age they get.
Chocolatey Goodness!

Ms BearOriginally posted onverybestbaking.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/7/2024[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use these morsels in cookies, biscotti, brownies and in chocolate glazes and icings. The taste and quality are excellent. I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own.
I would buy this product again.
skmOriginally posted onverybestbaking.com - 1 out of 5 stars review10/20/2019I am adding my two cents to everyone else who has discovered Nestle's betrayal--changing chocolate chips without a word to anyone. I discovered the change last fall when I started holiday baking, and I am searching for a new brand to use this winter. I am recommending to my granddaughter, now baking for her own family, that she never use Nestle chocolate chips. They do not melt, ruining recipes that call for melted chocolate chips.
Now garbage

Rena66Originally posted onverybestbaking.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/26/2024When I bake with semi-sweet morsels, Nestle Toll House is the only brand I use. The results are always consistent and I get the exact same quality and results every time. I know I can always count on Nestle Toll House! Exactly what I expect from Nestle Toll House!
1ladybugOriginally posted onverybestbaking.com - 4 out of 5 stars review10/31/2017I will never stop using Nestle Toll House morsels, although Nestle says that nothing in their recipe has changed I find that that can not be true. For years, yes I said years I've had no trouble microwaving these wonderful chocolate chips but this past Easter, when making chocolate covered eggs I could not get the chips to melt to a useable melted texture. I ruined more than one bag of chips. It now requires much more babysitting sorry to say. And just so you know I have not changed microwaves.
Not quite like they used to be!
AnnieErieOriginally posted onverybestbaking.com - 5 out of 5 stars review10/31/2017The chocolate works well in any recipe calling for chips or chunks. Creamy, semi-melted, rich chocolate flavor. They also melt easily for making fudge or dipping ends of cookies. I've been baking over 60 years and have never been disappointed with Nestle's chocolate chips. They are the only kind I buy. Thanks for a consistently great product.
The best of all chocolate chips
Pat the bakerOriginally posted onverybestbaking.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/23/2024My daughter wanted to make cookies for grandma after she lost a Super Bowl bet, and just in time we received the sample semi-sweet chips in the mail! How fortunate! Thanks Nestle! The cookies came out great as we melted the chips for a filling that we all loved. These chips are classic and did not disappoint. I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own.
great chips, great timing #free sample
JCOriginally posted onverybestbaking.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/1/2017My mother, bless her soul, taught me how to bake & she ALWAYS used Nestle Toll House morsels. I have adapted her Toll House cookie recipe to be a bit healthier (ground flax seed & some whole wheat flour). Love the semi-sweet, adore the dark & bittersweet varieties. I'm addicted to Nestle's morsels :-)
Simply THE Best!!!
JAC3Originally posted onverybestbaking.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/1/2017I love to bake and when I do it is always with Nestle Toll House chips - my husband loves the butterscotch ones when I make a cashew butterscotch bar and my dad loves the white chips in his white chocolate macadamia nut cookies. Chocolate chips are used in many of my cookies and I melt them for drizzle over macaroons and PB cookies.
Love them
sumcananyOriginally posted onverybestbaking.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/27/2024[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always bake our cookies or baked good with nestle tollhouse semi-sweet chocolate chips! You can't go wrong they make every baked good that more delicious. It was so tasty to bite into the peanut butter chocolate chip cookies and know you will have great tasting cookies because of the added semi-sweet chocolate chips!
Always bake with Tollhouse
GamedaymommaOriginally posted onverybestbaking.com - 4 out of 5 stars review10/31/2017I've tried a lot of chocolate morsels in my time but nestle morsels are the best. Of the 40+ years I've tried others that don't melt right nor taste as good as the Nestie brand. You just can't go wrong and in my opinion especially when making great memories as Nestle Toll House has...
Just the best!
