I bake at least once a week and always have chocolate morsels on hand. Because I'm price conscious, I have occasionally purchased other brands than Nestle, including store brands which have a retail price that's always less than name brands. But in the end, I always go back to Nestle because I've yet to find any other baking chips that have the freshness, quality, and taste that compares to Nestle. Nestle morsels taste like quality, rich semi-sweet chocolate. The chips always taste and look fresh, unlike other brands I've purchased that sometimes have both a chalky appearance and lack-luster taste. Nestle morsels are consistently uniform in their appearance from their flat bottoms to their pointed tips. I've found that Nestle morsels also melt easier and are less likely to seize than other brands. In my mind, there is simply no substitute for Nestle morsels if you're baking any type of cookie or bar that calls for chocolate chips. Because I'm price conscious, I wait until my stores are having sales on Nestle and then I'll purchase several bags at a time. That ensures I'm buying the best morsels at a price that's at least equal to or even less than other brands. My only critique is that I hardly ever see or find coupons for Nestle morsels. Even if coupons are not offered in a Sunday paper or magazine insert, it would be nice to see them occasionally in the Nestle Very Best Baking emails.

My whole family has used this recipe for generations. We always had many compliments on our baked goodies and everyone asking how we made them. Not anymore! The chips do not melt or taste good! I have tried several batches in the last year and always get the same disappointed results. I will not buy these chips anymore and it saddens me. I hope you go back to the original recipe!

All my life I have baked with Nestle's chocolate chips and Nestle's alone. My brothers and I would eat them straight out of the bag on many occasions, much to my mother's dismay. Now when I do this, one taste is enough. They remind me of the fake, solid chocolate Easter eggs wrapped in colored foil that would be bought because they were cheap, but no one would eat them. I guess I'll have to find a new chocolate chip to bake with!

I use Nestle Toll House mini chocolate chips in cookies, chocolate chips are my husband's favorite. I use Nestle Toll House mini chocolate chips when I made chocolate crumb bars. I use Nestle Toll house mini chocolate chips in my brownies, I even sprinkle them on top of the brownies. Nestle Toll House mini chocolate chips are the only chocolate chips I buy!!

When I bake chocolate cookies I use the tiny semi-sweet morsels so to avoid the overwhelming taste of chocolate (not a huge chocolate fan). They are just as delicious as the regular size chips but still but the mini chocolate morsels allow the taste of the cookie dough and other ingredients to come through.

Nestle semi sweet chocolate and butterscotch morsels aren't just a product, they are an institution and precious memories of my mother making scotcheroos, till house cookies and other amazing treats. I am a big fan of Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels. I used the sample that I received to make Nestle Toll House Famous Fudge. The morsels melted easily. I have been making fudge for over 25 years, and have made it with the same recipe all this time. This year I've used Nestle and I just cannot get the semi sweet chocolate chips to melt, and I've made it several times trying to figure out what the problem is. I read review after review of people that are having the same problems, yet you say that you have made no changes. Well, you clearly have, we aren't all stupid! It's really frustrating to purchase something thinking its what you need just to find out you spent good money on garbage! If you aren't going to sell chocolate that we consumers need then we will go elsewhere! Buying cheaper ingredients isn't going to get you anywhere. People clearly see the changes and are very unhappy. If you do nothing then we will go elsewhere and buy from manufacturers that will give us what we want. Don't just try to appease us and tell us to expect an email. I expect more than an email or I will not purchase from nestle again! I hate to be so blunt but I feel that you are disregarding what others have said about this issue.
