I always make Carnation fudge at Christmas (5 batches) and Memorial Day (2). Never had an issue and always appreciated. Last Christmas I couldn't get the chips in any of the batches to completely melt, leaving a lumpy mess instead of the nice smooth texture i'm used to. The receivers asked if I'd used a different recipe. They want what they'd had for so many years. This Memorial Day I tried the mini morsals, thinking smaller should melt better. Didn't happen. I thought I was going crazy til I came across this site. Why are so many cooks having the identical issue if nothing has changed at your end? My suggestion is for you to go back to the start of these complaints to identify the causation, fix it, and make us all happy cooks again. What does a company have if it doesn't have Brand loyalty? BTW Why did you EVER discontinue the Mint flavored? There's also been a lot of complaints regarding that change!

I have used Nestle toll house chips for years and the last few bags we have purchased are terrible. I made a batch of cookies a couple weeks ago and the chips were rock hard prior to baking. Last night I melted to dip my buckeyes in and they didn't melt as they have done before. What did they do to the recipe???? Go back to the way it was. Or I will be switching to a new chip.

I have been using this product here for as long as I can remember and so has my family members. I use Nestle Toll House semi sweet chocolate morsels in my cookies, cakes, cupcakes, muffins, brownies, for a dip and so much more. I love how easy they are to melt and they taste! Delicious!!

These are the perfect chocolate morsels! Excellent taste, even melting, and easily mixable to any recipe! I did some last minute shopping for Thanksgiving last night and grabbed two bags of the Semi-Sweet chocolate chips to make Saltine Toffee for a work potluck. Normally I go straight for the off brand because it has never failed me. But in a time crunch I picked Nestle's brand. I assumed Nestle knew what they were doing....I was so wrong. The recipe says to spread 2 cups of the chocolate chips, allow to sit a few mins to melt, and then to spread. After 5 mins they were still solid. So i popped the baking sheet in the oven for 3 mins thinking surely it would do the trick. NOPE. What I got was a powdery grainy disgusting mess. It was barely spreadable and there were clumps EVERYWHERE. It looked so terrible. Very disappointing considering I spent more money than normal. What happened???

My family and I have been using Nestle semi sweet chocolate chips to make fudge for over 50 years. Now the chips won't melt completely and the fudge tastes bland. I've made two different batches and bought the chips at two different stores. You have lost a long time customer.

These chips work great in those items. I recently baked a pumpkin chocolate chip bundt cake and a banana chocolate chip bundt cake. They are also great in monster cookies which also store great in the freezer.

The chocolate tasted very rich and creamy with a great chocolate flavor. I usually use store brand chips, but I won't anymore!! I highly recommend trying NESTLE CHOCOLATE CHIPS!
