I totally agree with most of the reviews on here that the formula must have changed none of the chocolate chips that I have used for years and years and years melt the same way that they used to especially when making fudge. Little lumps of chocolate remain no matter how hot I get it while cooking fudge or how long I stir it.

I always bake at least twice a year now. Harder for me to get around now. But we always keep a fresh bag handy just in case. But it really does not last to long. I went to start baking the other day and I had not one chip in the house. Now I knew I had two bags, but they are gone. Like with the cookies my husband ate them little by little. I was wondering why his sugar was so high lately. Guess I will just have to hide them fro now on. They are the best chocolates to bake with. Have tried another and just threw them out. They can not compare with Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels!

In the past I wasn't in a position to be so picky, but when I could I always chose Nestlé's Tollhouse because it was the familiar, what I grew up with. But financially now I could have anything I really want when I making something special, but I still choose to Toll House because it's the best.

I made chocolate chip cookies with chopped walnuts. I used semi sweet morsels which I received for free as a promotion to review them with my honest opinion. I have been using these morsels and following the recipe printed on the bag for the 47 years I have been cooking and baking, and they are the best.

This is the at least the second year now that I am so frustrated when making my fudge, I pride myself on havind delicious, smooth and glossy fudge with the semi sweet morsels. At first I thought it was me. I changed burners, I have made it at two other houses, and it just won't melt properly any more. I guess I will have to look for another brand when making my fudge, which is sad since I love the flavor of yours as I have been embarrassed to take my fudge anywhere now. :(

As a "responsible" grandma, my granddaughter and I don't always make sweets together, but when we do, a great chocolate chip cookie includes Nestles Semi Sweet and Nestlés Milk Chocolate Chips. We have such fun mixing up the dough and baking assorted size cookies. Plus my granddaughter gets to take home some of her own creation and share with Mom and Dad. Mmmm memories.

I wanted to make chocolate covered strawberrys,what a disaster! Two cups of morsels would not melt in the microwave they turned into a powdery consistency. I threw it out. Next I used a double boiler ,they also would not melt!! I'm wondering if your products change to now being "partially produced with genetic engineering" has ruined what used to be my only choice for my own chocolate cookie recipe. I do not want to use these chips again!

The Nestles toll house semi-sweet morsels are one of the best. I made the best chocolate chip cookies using these chips. They are 100% real chocolate and have no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives in them. I enjoyed baking with these sweet morsels!

Nestle semi sweet chocolate and butterscotch morsels aren't just a product, they are an institution and precious memories of my mother making scotcheroos, till house cookies and other amazing treats. Then me making them for my children and grandchildren. I wouldn't use anything but Nestle brand, because I want perfection every time. Baking is love ❤️
