I have been baking with Nestle Toll House morsels for 40 years. I have tried more expensive chocolate chips, but none are worth the extra money. I have also tried cheaper options and they are not good enough. Nestle Toll House morsels deliver every time!

I've made a cake with melted milk chocolate as the top layer for years. I made it the other day and the chips would not melt. I've never had this problem before so I went online to see if others were having the same problem. Apparently I am not the only one. I am so diappoiinted that this product has been changed. My go to was Nestle. I will have to choose something else at this point.

We all know that is is the gold standard for chocolate chip cookies but my use of them also include flourless chocolate cake. Instead of "chopping up some chocolate" I use a cup full of semi-sweet morsels instead. The result is fantastic! Many who have tried the cake are surprised that I used Nestle Morsels. True confession time: I'm 70 years old and have been baking almost that long. Over the years, I've tried other chocolate chips. But I always come back to Tollhouse semi-sweet... and then I wonder why I tried anything else! No wonder people love my baking I received a free product for this review but this did not influence my opinion. #freesample

Very good price, very good product. Wish they had more varieties. I always have a supply of chocolate chip cookies and 7 layer cookies in the freezer so use a lot of chocolate chips. I only use good quality, name brand chips so this is just right for me. I never let my supply of chocolate chips dwindle and I always eat a handful while mixing a batch of cookies.

Sometimes I make a mistake. I melted the butter for the chocolate chip cookies and it said "softened butter". It does make a huge difference. My Niece Kayli said, "Oh Aunty! The cookies are all over the cookie sheet!" I tried one and it was still a tasty treat. So we loaded up the not-perfect cookies and brought it to the Elder's Lunch. They all laughed with us about the baking disaster. And all agreed the cookies were still tasty. Children learn when they are right by your side. A Toll House Cookie is the best-no matter what. Mistakes can be made and next time we will try again.

Twice I've made scotcheroos. I have to melt butterscotch chips and semi-sweet chocolate chips together. I've had issues making the chocolate topping in both batches! There must be something that has changed. If it's not with the recipe maybe it's with shipping? Or are they getting too hot or too cold while they're made? Something has definitely changed with these chocolate chips and butterscotch chips.
