Both were excellent with the addition of the semi sweet chocolate chips. I received this product for free for the purpose of this review. All opinions are my own.

When I think of Nestle Tollhouse Morsels it brings back lots of memories.I remember my Mom, my sister and I baking cookies every holiday season and on those moments just because. We had such a good time. We would make dozens and dozens at Christmas time to give as gifts or the big annual Roman Family Christmas dinner the Sunday before Christmas. I also remember a time or two we halved amount of the chips to make them stretch during the tough times. I have been able to create great memories with my children and soon to create those with my grandchildren. My kids have been lucky, there is always a package of Tollhouse Chocolate Chip ready to bake cookie dough in the refrigerator for those just because moments. Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chips have been a part of my life since I was a little girl. I remember sneaking bites of the raw cookie dough when my mom wasn't looking and the anticipation of hot cookies was too much to bear. I baked throughout my high school years and college. It was my "therapy." Once I became a Mom (of 4 sons) you can imagine my kitchen. Baking cookies was a staple on a daily basis. As their friends would pile in to eat the hot, chewy cookies, I became known as "the cookie Mom." I ended up slightly tweaking the original Toll House recipe and now I have something that is simply indescribably delicious. I baked for college kids and sent packages off on a weekly basis. People would contact me to send "hugs from home" to their children and Nestle Toll House was a piece of those hugs. My children are grown and while we wait for grandchildren, I continue to bake my chocolate chip cookies for family, friends, neighbors, and strangers. However, once you give someone a chocolate chip cookie - they are no longer a stranger. I look forward to the day I can teach my grandchildren the warmth of baking cookies, the feeling you get when you share them, and the great love you get back. Nestle's Semi-Sweet Morsels are anything but ordinary, they are extraordinary. They can transform a dessert from drab to fab. I love to use them in baking and making desserts. I love to eat them as a treat by them self or mixed with some walnuts and coconut for an added treat. I love making Chocolate Truffles at Christmas time with Nestle's Semi-Sweet Morsels as everyone in my family looks forward to eating them and receiving them as gifts. They all ask me to make them for special occasions. I know that Nestle's Semi-Sweet Morsels are the key ingredient in my Chocolate Truffles that make them so irresistible. Nestle's Semi-Sweet Morsels are awesome and fun.

I make overnight oats just about every night for my morning breakfast. It has oats, yogurt, Chia seeds, walnuts, milk, and sometimes blueberries. I decided to add some of these chocolate chips to it and additionally, tried the butterscotch chips that I also received in a shipment recently. These chips held up very well as they added flavor and sweetness to my oats. I usually eat them cold out of the refrigerator but this time I microwaved it just a little bit to get the chips melted. Nestle has always been a primary product for myself and my family members. Although I cannot personally eat them, due to my food allergies and intolerances, my siblings have always given rave reviews. Based on how I see their quality for melting and baking, they are quite good! For instance, they melt very nicely and bake wonderfully. They keep their form, but melt into delicious gooeyness! They have that perfect balance between sweet and bitter. I keep them sealed with a rubberband and in the freezer, especially since Texas has horrible warm weather. The ingredients are not always the most "organic," but for the price, it's not that bad. Unless I am baking for special events (which I usually purchase a higher quality chocolate), these are a very good selection!

Our family is a bit unusual. We like the milk chocolate morsels in our chocolate chip cookies because it makes them sickening sweet. We are all chocoholics and truly have always enjoyed your product for as long as I've been baking. That would add up to about 50 years of my life. We LOVE NESTLE'S CHOCOLATE IN EVERY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM. IT IS PERFECT WITH COFFEE, MILK, HOT CHOCOLATE, EVERYTHING! LOVE TO EAT IT RAW, LOVE TO EAT IT FRESHLY BAKED AND STILL WARM AND GOOEY. i HAVE BEEN EATING IT SINCE I WAS BARELY ABLE TO WALK AND I STILL LOVE IT TODAY AT 52 YEARS OLD. SERIOUS COMFORT FOOD!

I have tried many morsels. Nestled is the only one. I love to make the peanut butter morsels with rice Krispys. I have melted milk chocolate morsels n put them In bottom of pan then putvpeanut butter Krispy next then drizzled milk chocolate melted morsels on top. Yum yum
