Nestles semi sweet chips are great in cookies , on brownies( they melt on the brownies right out of the oven, no extra dishes) , in sweet rolls with any nuts , in homemade candy and just plain out of the bag. We always have a few bags in the cupboard.

The only chocolate chip to use for original chocolate chip cookies. My mom made this all the time growing up. Now I make them for family and friends. My recipe is slight different,I think it was the original one. Never use butter only sold Crisco with two tablespoons of water. Always undercook slightly so they don't burn. Take out of oven slightly brown. Leave on cookie sheet for 1 minute then put on wax paper to cool. The best.

I always bake at least twice a year now. Harder for me to get around now. But we always keep a fresh bag handy just in case. But it really does not last to long. I went to start baking the other day and I had not one chip in the house. Now I knew I had two bags, but they are gone. Like with the cookies my husband ate them little by little. My husband likes nuts and I a less a fan, so I will make half with pecans and half without. The recipe that is on every bag of Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels is always perfect. My latest batch of Toll House Cookies I portioned the dough out with a small scoop and then froze them on a sheet pan with parchment paper. Now I can just pop the cookies in a 375 degree oven for hot cookies whenever I'm in the mood. As the dough is colder, the cookies don't spread as much, which is perfect for dunking in milk. I have quite a few family and friends that visit during the holidays and they say what they enjoy most is smelling my chocolate chip cookies, brownies or muffins baking. Nestles Toll House morsels have so many flavors and are so versatile. Last weekend my friends and I got together to make some fall desserts/snacks. We dipped sliced apples into melted Nestle Toll house Morsels, Semi Sweet, White, and Peanut butter, then drizzled with carmel and then added our favorite sprinkles, nuts and other decorations. DELICIOUS!!! Needless to say once we got home to our families the treats did not last long.

Before any of the Morsels can be used, I must test a few for quality of flavor! LOL I use them to make candies, cookies, brownies and cakes. If I have leftover melted morsels, grab crackers, cookies, chips, pretzels or chilled fruit sticks and dip away! After all, chocolate is like fine wine, never waste it!
